Andrea listened to my must haves in my challenging kitchen update and with that in mind completely designed a balanced, functional and beautiful space. The materials and style of my new cabinets and fixtures are an excellent match with the rest of my home. From my initial contact with Andrea through to the project completion I was kept informed. When my wife and I decided it was time to remodel our 25 year old kitchen, I was very skeptical about spending the extra money for a designer…. We already had, or thought we had a layout that would work well and we had looked through plenty of magazines and websites about kitchen design. On top of that, we are both relatively stylish people with good taste and a good sense of space. Now, after going through this process, and seeing what goes into a full kitchen renovation, I couldn’t imagine doing it without Andrea, of A. Lynn Design, by our side. Her knowledge and expertise proved to be invaluable, and the design ideas that Andrea came up with are ones that had not even crossed our minds. On top of the beautiful and functional kitchen that Andrea created, she was able to save us a considerable amount of money through her contractor pricing and the relationships that she has with different vendors. The money that she was able to save us more than covered the cost of her services. After the initial consultation with Andrea, I realized that we had made a great decision. Andrea has a very unique ability to quickly assess and learn a person’s style and taste, and to then incorporate what she has learned through her years of experience to create an incredible “one-off” space designed just for the client. We knew we were going to completely gut the kitchen, but we had no idea the level of detail and thought that can go into a remodel. Andrea helped us every step of the way down to the smallest details. And when I say every detail, I mean everything…. Overall layout, cabinet style, cabinet color, appliances, granite, lighting, speakers, sink style, faucet style, outlet placement, backsplash style, paint color, window treatments, accent pillows, cabinet hardware, under cabinet lighting and more… We worked together for months before the actual renovation began in order to work out every detail for the new Kitchen. She was always energetic and full of great ideas, and her attention to detail is second to none. In addition to a designer, Andrea was kind of like a project manager helping to coordinate everything with the contractor and to make sure that everything was going as planned. My wife and I are absolutely thrilled with our new Kitchen, and we owe it to Andrea for helping to make it a reality. From our initial consultation through the completion of our project, Andrea was attentive to both my husband and my taste in decor. The end result of her work truly reflects what we both hoped to see in our home. Andrea's organization, frequent communication, and attention to detail made our experience fun as well as fulfilling. Our first project with Andrea was selecting fabrics, paint colors and a furniture layout all centered around a piece of art I had selected for my home office. That project went so well that we then worked with her to plan a kitchen makeover. Andrea gives her attention to even the smallest details in the selection of flooring, backsplash tile and design, window treatments and accessories. Our family room is next! We are thrilled to have found such a talented and dedicated designer!

My husband and I consulted with Andrea to help solve various design dilemmas with our new build home plans. She was incredibly helpful in providing us creative ways to work with our space and our budget. She pointed out some flaws that our architect had overlooked in the drawing of our plans. She was also a great reference on standard sizes for things like kitchen island heights, bay windows, etc. and how all of these elements would fit together in a space. She even did math in her head, which, to me, is superhuman. All jokes aside, she provided us with some great options and helped us make numerous decisions that we had no idea how to make before our consultation. My husband and I hopefully look forward to working with Andrea again to discuss color palette in more depth than in our first meeting—our first meeting was more about how to use the space and what materials to use for our design and budget though we did talk color as well. What Andrea provided was everything I wanted in a meeting with a designer, and she’s also a very nice person—Highly recommended! Thank you, Andrea!

When I contacted Andrea Lynn for an initial consultation, I was at the start of a study remodel. She helped solidify the layout, provided function and decorating/color options and even gave me a short tutorial on general cabinet pricing and finishes. To top it all off, she made an unscheduled trip with me to the cabinet seller's showroom to consider various cabinet colors and then emailed me a picture of a piece of her own furniture so that I could visualize a concept we had discussed. I will certainly keep Andrea Lynn in mind as we proceed with this project and any future remodeling.

Andrea was hired to make custom valances for my master bedroom and bathroom. She was extremely knowledgeable with the color and style to complete my room which has made such an impact. She exuded a casual elegance - never pressuring to make the sale. The line of communication was always open and she was on time for all appointments. I would definitely hire her again.

I consulted with Andrea to give my ranch-style home a fresh new look from the street and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The facelift included rebuilding the front porch, adding a handsome walkway, light fixtures, and door, and selecting the colors for the porch, house trim, shutters, door, and new roof. Andrea’s contractors were precise and completed the project on time without complication. The whole process was enjoyable and I would highly recommend Andrea to anyone looking to transform the way they see their home.

Andrea has completed multiple projects for me in the past year. These projects included drapes and accessories for our bedrooms; drapes, artwork and reupholstered furniture for the living room and dining room and a complete re-do of our family room. The family room project included the conversion of French doors to a large picture window. Andrea worked with our contractor to ensure adherence to plans and a beautiful end result. Our contractor commented that she was one of the most organized designer he had met. Working with Andrea has been delightful. She sets high standards and then delivers. She went so far as to make changes to a set of drapes that were ok with me but didn't meet her specifications (and they do look much better!). I can't recommend her enough and look forward to our next project together. If I had my way (and means), she would immediately be re-doing my whole house!

I hired Andrea to help me choose colors for my kitchen remodel. I'm having my cabinets built by a cabinet maker who can paint them any color I choose but, even though I was pretty sure I wanted white cabinets, making the right choice was daunting to me. It was a very pleasant and helpful experience working with Andrea. She came to my house to see the space and get an idea of where I am so far on the project. I already had some tile and counter samples that I liked so she just worked with those to narrow down the best cabinet color for my space. We also picked a nice wall color. She listened to my ideas and also gave suggestions for the over all kitchen design. It was reassuring to have a designer's eye on my plans and I can see using her services again as I move along with this project. I was excited to see the pieces coming together and am going to feel much more confident ordering my cabinets now.
