About Us

Apel Design, Inc. offers residential and interior design and planning services. We are the home designer of choice for L.A.'s creative class. Why? Because we capture the very essence of Los Angeles in our one-of-a-kind custom homes. Our aesthetic might be broadly described as minimalist, but we are skilled at many other styles – and we love any design challenge. The one unifying factor in all our projects is natural, golden California sunlight. Whether it is Spanish, traditional or modern, the wow factor comes from view-facing glass walls that open to allow nature in. What sets Apel Design apart from other LA architecture and design firms is that we build houses that up the cool factor of their street. We like to say our houses are always a little bit rock and roll. We do features like floating trees and see-through wine cellars. (You kind of have to see them to believe it!) They were very professional. Everything that I asked for was delivered as promised. The best thing for me was that there were no surprises.
