We reached out to Amy to help us find the vision for our Master Bath remodel. I knew what I didn't like, but had no idea what I really wanted. Amy was extremely patient with us as we worked through the design phase. she took the time to walk through our house, find our general style, and built me a model that I fell in love with. Once we agreed to the design, we had the chance to meet with the General Contractor, and away we went with ordering everything we needed. The process was very streamlined, we had excellent communication from Amy and the GC through the entire process. Every single trades person that came in to do work was friendly, professional and kept our area clean. Amy led us through all of the expectations and timelines so there were no surprises. Any concerns I had along the way she was very quick to address and answer any questions. Overall, we had an exceptional experience and I have a beautiful Master Bath.

Amy was a joy to work with and really understood my style, budget, and priorities. She had excellent contacts w/ local lighting, tile, flooring, carpentry, and painting pros who executed well and were also great to work with (good communicators, on time, thorough, etc.). She really critiqued everything as if she were going to live here, and made so many “little” design suggestions throughout that made a huge difference. I felt she was really efficient with her time and mine, and she gave me detailed invoices of her hours so my husband and I understood how the money was being spent. Overall, our kitchen and main level projects were on time and budget—and I every day I still have happy moments when I see our backsplash or the shape of the trees through the shades or our beautiful hardwood floors.

Amy is amazing! We moved into our new home with the basics, and she has taken it to a whole new level that exceeds our expectations and imagination! She listened to us, and expertly navigated our differing styles such that our entire family loves every detail. She gracefully incorporated personal items so that our home feels unique and special to us yet still beautiful and timeless. We absolutely love working with Amy, and highly recommend her to anyone!

Wow! We are so lucky to have found Amy!! She did an amazing job with both our basement and converting a bedroom into a chic office space for me. Her ability to layer in color and texture throughout the room and then furnish it with just the right accessories is amazing! And we loved the way she guided us through the process. Everything from listening to what we wanted, what inspired us, how we would use the space to the conceptual design enabled us to envision what everything would be like. We've gotten a ton of compliments and thoroughly enjoy both spaces. We highly recommend her to anyone.

Amy was fabulous to work with and very attentive in every regard. She really captured the feeling we we’re trying to achieve. She was able to take inspiration images and create a whole house concept that is so much better than anything we could have imagined. The house now flows with with a refined sense of playfulness, an ease that makes every room comfortable and welcoming. I didn't know Amy before working with her to update our master bathroom and to add lighting to our kitchen island, and I'm sure thankful for her help! She did a great job helping us to identify what we liked and didn't like, and to envision the completed space. She introduced colors and finishes that we would not have otherwise used. As well, she has relationships with contractors and suppliers and helped to make sure quality and craftsmanship we were looking for. Amy Krause provided incredible service to us in the remodel of our kitchen and family roo. She guided us from the development of the plan to every step along the way. She went with us to help select items such as the sink and faucets, the new appliances, and advised on paint colors. The furniture selections she identified were excellent but if there something we weren't sold on she was always very open to searching for alternatives. Once we got to the phase of choosing accessories her creativity was impressive and the choices wonderful. We felt like she gave us personalized attention and her friendly and warm personality made the experience enjoyable. We would recommend Amy to anyone considering making changes both large and small. We wont hesitate to use her when it is time to start another project. We are big fans of her work and consider her a friend. Yea Amy!!

Working with Amy was an absolute joy! She made redecorating fun and I love waking up every morning to spend another day in my beautiful space! Life brought me to Kansas City even though "home" is Pacific Northwest. Our townhouse in the suburbs is a great location for my family. However our middle unit lacks natural light, and the dated Tuscan colors and decor were dark. As well, the space was open but small, lacking kitchen cabinets, counter top and sufficient space for every day living and entertaining guests which was something I loved to do. Amy did an amazing job transforming the space both functionally while making the space feel uniquely mine, reflecting who I am with pieces of the Pacific Northwest that bring "home" to Kansas city for me! She brought light into the space with light neutrals, reflective surfaces and bright LED lights. She thought of key structural changes, like doubling the size of our kitchen island to add both cabinets and counter space for entertaining. As well she brought creative solutions to enlarge the living space with additional seating for company. All the while staying within our budget and making it worry-free for me. Amy is both an artist and a professional with a critical eye for detail and customer satisfaction. I found the whole experience incredibly valuable and the end result surpassed all my expectations! I am now engaging Amy to help design my mother's flat in Vancouver Canada!

It was a wonderful experience working with Amy on the interior design of our main living spaces (the living room, kitchen and family room). The project turned out beautifully. My husband and I have different styles and initially found it difficult to come to terms with which direction to go. Amy is very attentive and easy to work with. She assisted with all the major decisions, seamlessly blending our two style preferences. Even when we could not agree on the plans, she was very patient, and provided suggestions that we both were agreeable with. As an added bonus, we were able to incorporate some of our existing furniture into the redesign plans. I really liked that idea. They look great with the new - as if they were special orders specifically for the design. I appreciate her expertise, professionalism and easiness in working with her. We look forward to continue to work with Amy when we tackle the next phases of our projects.

Amy has been a joy to work with. We updated our town home and we ended up replacing all the flooring, painting everything and replacing the furniture. She listened closely to what we liked and didn’t like. What we ended up with was better than we could possibly have dreamed of. Amy Krause did a spectacular job with the interior design of a condo conversion project in Westside Kansas City area. A former area supermarket was remodeled into 3 individual condominiums and Amy captured the essence of the neighborhood delivering a hip, urban feel blending the best of the original structural features like 20' ceilings with modern open space design. The minute you walk into the space you are hit with the kitchen as the highlight of the living area. Amy is able to combine the basic technical expertise you'd expect of an interior design professional with a flair for the latest trends in interior design. Amy laid out the entire kitchen workspace complete with a giant island ensuring that workspaces met industry standards for comfort and flexibility. Custom cabinetry was specified that delivered maximum functionality of the space available. By hiring Amy the entire project came together without incident. Everything went together as envisioned and the finished product delivered the WOW factor we were looking for. If you are considering hiring an interior designer you can't go wrong with Amy. She is conscientious, technically adept and has a good vision for what the end product will look like. Amy has helped me think through some large spaces in our church building. It is not easy to be creative on a budget with expansive spaces while tying in themes and feel from other parts of a large building. Amy did a great job accomplishing all of this. She is easy to work with, listens well to the problem, need, or desire, and then finds resources and options to create possible solutions. I will have Amy "on call" for future needs.

This is how working with a decorator should be!! Best experience ever I chose to step carefully, to hire a consult first, to see if this would be helpful to my situation. Working with Amy was pure fun. Even though the service started as a consult only, Amy jumped in and was moving furniture, dishing out Great ideas at the same time, and stirring our enthusiasm for our project.
