Laurel Construction and Design Company

This is review 1. We're very excited to work with Angela from Lauring. So they came out about two weeks after the initial email contact, on June 10. Angela and her husband were very personable, friendly, took lots of measurements, had good ideas, spent about an hour and a half with us reviewing our deck thoughts. We have a deck that's about 24' x 18' but need a deck "topper/covering", a hot tub with additional Deck/floor space, stairs, angle potentially added to existing space to soften the line between The deck and the common space of the golf/common area. We were told about 2-3 weeks for a proposal and construction could be done in August by Laurel. Angela's kept in decent contact, but obviously the architect/drawer has slowed her process down, we're looking forward to a proposal soon! We did receive a very rough sketch this week, but I couldn't download the app needed to view it as I didn't have a PC available, only portable devices while travelling. So, can't wait for the proposal! Project cost overall is likely $15-21,000 Laurel quoted $500 for a drawing, measurements, and components/parts list in case we wanted a different construction firm to build the deck and stated 2-3 weeks for deliver of the proposal.

Our project consisted of expanding a very small bathroom into a much larger space. A wall had to be moved into the adjoining bedroom that included reconstructing a closet. The footprint of the bathroom was drastically changed in which the plumbing had to be totally redone along with the wiring. The space was torn down to the studs and rebuilt from scratch. We went from a tiny bathroom with a tiny shower and no storage to a bathroom with a spacious shower, double sink vanity and custom oak cabinetry. Throughout the project, Brian and Angela were very helpful and supportive as we worked through the vision of the final project. The work done is high quality and both are very knowledgeable about their work. They are professional and very caring about their clients' positive experience during the remodel. We love our new bathroom!

It was a pleasure to work with Laurel Construction and Design Co. in purchasing and installing our new front entry doors. They helped us choose which door design to go with, worked with us for custom color, and they were very considerate of working in our home, and our time. We would definitely work with Laurel Construction and Design Co. again.

We had a terrific experience with Laurel Construction. It was a big job - new windows, full exterior paint, and new garage door. Angela is terrific with colors and design issues, and Brian is both highly skilled and one of the hardest workers I've ever seen - including working through some of the hottest days on record. They're pleasant and easy to work with, open to suggestions even once the work is underway. And, importantly, they're incredibly honest - every nickel was accounted for; you trust them implicitly. They're good people and they do good work - what else could you ask for!
