Archadeck Piedmont Triad

DO NOT waste your time with this company! The sales person paints a beautiful picture but the construction coordinating team cannot deliver. The subcontracted construction team is great however, the coordinator at Archadeck is terrible. He does not coordinate well, shows no urgency to complete the project, and blames the customers for things that aren’t the customer’s responsibility. We had wrong size trim and casing installed that covered the all the electrical box. Archadeck refuse to order correct size material because they had spent the budget on the wrong size. We signed a contract for a four season sunroom in March of 2021. Construction started in the summer. I was told by the sales team at time time of signing the contract, this is a six week project with possible wait time in between for inspection. Now we are reaching Jan 2022, I’m being told by Archadeck we still have four weeks of construction left. They failed the structural inspection as well. If you want your deck/screen room/ sunroom finished in reasonable time with a reliable structure and the right size material, this is not a company you would want to choose.

Archadeck helped us replace an old sunroom with a porch last year, and we couldn't be happier with it. Our family spends as much time there as we can -- it's been the best decision we've made with the house. The team was great to work with, from Greg to Candace to Billy to the outside contractors. Candace was very patient as we went through multiple iterations of design. She was helpful with information and opinions when we asked and allowed us to hem and haw over details when we needed the time. We feel like the craftsmanship is top-notch -- besides it still looking great after the first year, each inspector noted to us the high quality of the work. We had a minor issue early on -- the truck driver who was hauling away a dumpster from the demo part of the job did some damage to our driveway/drainage. When we contacted Archadeck, Greg came out the next morning to check it out and arranged for it to be fixed up at the end of the job (which happened weeks later, to our satisfaction).

After seeing their construction quality first hand at a home near ours, we contracted Greg and his team at Archadeck of the Piedmont Triad for our deck upgrade and screened porch addition. We could not have made a better choice. Throughout the design process, Greg was patient and understanding as we went through a smorgasbord of “what if” scenarios. Time and again he happily worked out the pros and cons of various construction details, and how these decisions would impact the cost and optimize functionality. Through a number of design changes we got our wish list fulfilled and the most value for our money. The construction team went a step further by being dependable and trustworthy. They took great pride in their work and were proactive in making construction improvements. While these sorts of details often go unseen, I really appreciate all the little things they did. Their experience is impressive, and it shows in their work. Photos don’t convey how much character and craftsmanship is in their final product, you have to experience it.

These good folks helped me tremendously with building a deck and wheelchair ramp for my parents. They listened to my concerns, asked me very good questions, considered ADA requirements, and safety. They understood that I had some budget constraints, and didn’t bat an eye. They came back with three beautiful designs that made the ramp look like a thoughtful design rather than an afterthought or an add-on for the house. They designed and built the deck in such a way, that if we would like to add a roof at a later time, when we have the budget, we can do that. I found them all to be very friendly, very responsive to my needs and concerns, and very honest. I also cannot say enough good things about the construction crew. They were a small crew, very good at what they did, they cleaned the site very well when they were done, and they were very kind to my mom and dad. My overall experience with this company was excellent. And the end result is not only beautiful, but a god-send for my folks.

We had a wonderful experience with Greg and everyone at Archadeck Piedmont Triad. They were all very professional and courteous and listened closely to what we wanted. We are extremely happy with the finished deck and patio and would highly recommend them. The quality of their work is outstanding.

We have lived in our current house for over 25 years and have always wanted a landscaped backyard with a deck and screened in porch. Archadeck was recommended by the landscaping firm that we had consulted. We had some nebulous ideas of what we wanted but were not sure what would work on our very sloped backyard. Gary McNeer spent a long time with us over several meetings. He listened to our ideas and thoughts and came back with several proposals. He listened to our feedback and helped us finalize the plans. He guided us on material selection being very sensitive to our likes and dislikes. We decided on Azek as our deck material. The project was started exactly on time. The carpenters (Mike and Matt) were efficient, friendly, and very skilled. Despite working in the winter with several very cold spells, the construction was completed on schedule. Upon completion the work site was left in great condition. The completed project is BEAUTIFUL and we could not be more pleased. The completed project exceeded our expectation and dreams. I would highly recommend Gary and the team at Archadeck!

We hired Archadeck to build and install a pergola on our back patio. From the first conversation with Greg to the job completion our experience with Archadeck was a positive one. The work was professionally done and we are very pleased with the finished product and highly recommend the good folks at Archadeck for any outdoor project.

If I had to do it over again, I would. I have shown my new porch five times already. I so enjoy it. Both Jorge and Kenny take great pride in their workmanship, and it shows. It is difficult to find people who do quality, professional work. The staff really go the extra mile to make sure the finished product is quality. Thanks for the great new room!

You will not regret choosing Archadeck. Our Screened Porch is beautiful and a most wonderful retreat. Archadeck met every expectation on this project. From the time we met with the designer until the last inspection, we were kept informed of the progress and the porch was completed within the time quoted. The crew was efficient, professional and on-time. The workmanship is of extremely high quality and it is GORGEOUS! This was our 2nd screened porch built by Archadeck and I highly recommend them.

Greg and the Archadeck team were as good as advertised. Personable, professional, and most importantly provided great results in building our Porch and Patio. Greg did a great job in explaining the project and communicating throughout the process. Billy and the teams provided fantastic work and unexpected attention to detail. Whenever you decide to have a major addition made to your home, you hope you have chosen the right people to do the work.
