About Us

AWS Remodeling and Design is the new image name and a division of All Weather Systems, Inc., which was incorporated in 1973. AWS has been in business continually for over 48 years in and around the Louisville Metro area. Our company is a family owned and operated business with over 13,000 homes remodeled in Kentuckiana. We have the knowledge and experience to treat your home with care and respect. Our crew leaders go to annual training classes through the Building Industry Association in order to keep up with current trends, safety requirements and code requirements.

I was extremely pleased with the work and professionalism AWS showed during the complete remodeling process of my kitchen. While their bid was comparable with other contractors, the project completion time was virtually one-half of the others which was a big selling point. The office staff provided excellent recommendations during the entire design phase of the project. Additionally, the recommended vendors/suppliers were true professionals and had great products from which to choose. The project was completed on time and within budget. Having the same workers everyday from demolition through remodeling was also a plus. I will certainly us AWS again if additional projects are needed.

We were totally satisfied with the work performed by AWS. Work completed in estimated time. All those we dealt with were very pleasant and informative. Couldn’t be happier with our bathroom. We would definitely give them a 5 star rating.

AWS remodeled our kitchen. Most importantly, the quality of their work was excellent. But they were also professional and easy to work with: they showed up on time, they returned calls promptly, they were courteous, they promptly came back to make small adjustments as needed, they didn't destroy our house, they cleaned-up every day they left, they gave suggestions on remodeling strategies. They were recommended to us by a friend who is very picky. I would whole-heartedly recommend them, and I'm just as picky as my friend.

The sales/office staff were so helpful in suggestions and options for our kitchen and 2 bath remodels. The guys doing the remodel were very professional, considerate of our schedule and needs and so easy to work with. They kept their mess to a minimum and cleaned up at the end of each day. I would highly recommend this crew for remodeling. Also, their supply vendors had so many options to choose from and again were very knowledgeable and considerate in helping us choose the best products for our remodels.

AWS remodeled our bathroom (2015) and kitchen (2018). They are a wonderful company to work with from Theresa and Rick in the office to Greg, Casey, and Ian who did the actual demolition and renovation. Our kitchen was very outdated (probably from the late 70s) and the appliances were old as well so the kitchen was completely demolished from floor to ceiling. The remodel itself took 6 weeks (exactly what Greg estimated it would take) but we could not be happier with the result. The kitchen looks bigger, is brighter, has much more cabinet space and looks terrific. ASW was able to get the french doors we wanted as well and they really add a nice updated look to the space. Greg, Casey, and Ian treated our home and our animals respectfully and the work site was always clean at the end of the day. The pictures show the before (white cabinets, wasted soffit space, white appliances) and after (wood cabinetry, new appliances, granite counter tops, corner cabinets, pantry by fridge, etc.). We really love our new kitchen and highly recommend AWS for any remodeling needs.

We hired AWS to remodel our kitchen and adjacent mud room. I like that AWS does the work themselves and doesn't have to subcontract out the work. This made the project timeframe about 1/2 compared to others we received quotes from. Another positive to having AWS do our work is that they actually send the lead contractor out to see your space, take measurements, and give input on what may or may not work in your space. This helped us from the beginning understand what might have been an unrealistic vision for our renovations (financially and feasibility of actual space). The only negative I had with AWS was with the vendors they really pushed on us. We found products to use elsewhere and are very happy with them and are even happier with what we saved. Renovations are so expensive, so it was nice to try and save some costs (but still have quality items). We have already hired AWS for another project this year and will be looking to use them again in early 2018.
