The owners of this Furniture Store will rip you off. They can "order" some nice things and have many fine companies that they work with. But beware!!!
One instance, I wanted a very nice particular bed for my home and was told by the owner that she would give me a "special" reduced price if I would promise not to price shop with other furniture stores.
Most recently, I wanted a Marge Carson couch. I had my decorator handle this by calling the owner and getting the price for what I wanted... which was $3,500. I walk in the store ready to purchase and the owner sees me and because she has done previous business with me and knows my financial situation to be well off... the price of the couch went from the $3,500 that was quoted to my interior decorator to $5,250. Which included a specialty pillow that was "normally" $1,500, according to the owner and that she would reduce the price, just for me, to $900. This pillow was included with the quote given to my decorator. The owner asked my decorator if she wanted a percent of the sale and she said no. To pass the savings onto me as my decorator is on retainer.
Now, I realize that I should have turned around and left store but I am very impatient and wanted the couch as soon as possible. So, I went ahead with the purchase. The couch arrived Tuesday and was delivered in a timely manner but I was charged an additional $110 to get the couch from Ridgeland to Hattiesburg, Mississippi. I came right out and asked the owner of the store if she hadn't made enough from me on the sale of the couch to deliver for free... no she wasn't willing to waive the fee. When the couch arrived at my house, they had 60 year old male and a young petite girl of about 20 to try and move the very heavy couch into my bedroom. My point being, she wasn't strong enough, though she gave it her best effort to get the couch into my bedroom. fortunately roommate was there and ended up doing the majority of the work.
That will be the last time I will ever do any business with Azadi Fine Furniture.
