Blossoming Gardens Garden Design offers a garden design service for those looking to enhance their lifestyle and welcome the outdoors into their everyday. Having built-up a network of trusted professional landscapers and contractors, we also oversee the build of our projects. From obtaining quotations for landscaping your garden, to arranging specialist work and regular site visits, we ascertain our designs are implemented accurately. Working primarily across Edinburgh, the Lothians and Scottish Borders, we’ve worked in many environments, from coastal to inner-city. After many attempts to find a designer who would take on our difficult hillside garden, we were very pleased to have found Becca. This was a complex project but Becca tackled it with professionalism. She had to attend quite a lot of project meetings with the firm who constructed the garden and they were impressed with her plans and technical knowledge. We now have a wonderful terraced garden with decking that is accessible and looks fantastic. We would heartily recommend Becca.

Working with Becca has been a delight. My garden was overgrown and had become a source of frustration and disappointment. Becca listened to my concerns and aspirations and came up with delightful plans for hard landscaping and planting, within my budget. She is very knowledgeable on all aspects and very thorough. Becca transformed our garden with her imaginative hard landscaping and locally-influenced planting plan. Strategically placed focal points draw the eye from wherever we happen to be. Well-planned paths ensure that we can explore and use every part of the garden. Almost one year on, a local variety of apple tree is already bearing fruit. The lawn is bedding in nicely, and beds are filling in with colourful bloom and attractive foliage. Becca responded sympathetically to our wishes and helped shape our ideas where we were less certain. She worked creatively with the available space and her plan skilfully complemented existing (and immutable) features. Becca carefully managed the project from start to finish. She sourced hard landscaping contractors and supervised their timely installations. She also helped with the work of placing the plants, helping her novice clients to get it right! We are so delighted with Becca's work we have engaged her to refresh our front garden this autumn. If you engage Becca's service, you too can have a Blossoming Garden!

Becca designed a new garden for us from scratch. She was very sympathetic to what we wanted (eco friendly, regional planting, wildlife friendly and edible) and how we planned to use the garden, with 3 kids. She provided a list of good contractors, helped to oversee the hard landscaping and did a full planting plan. The garden is now coming into its first summer and we're thrilled with it. Highly recommended.

Becca at Blossoming Gardens did a terrific job for us, and has transformed the look of our front garden. What was a mono-blocked eyesore is now a lovely space - it looks bigger and has so far given a lovely range of colours as the seasons change. Becca helped us (a pair of garden novices) to understand what we would like and what would work in the space, using pictures of previous projects and plants to patiently build a design. She was very helpful with the materials - cobbles for a path and borders, sandstone for a new wall and gravel for the driveway. Becca engaged the Promised Landscapes to do the hard work of removing the mono-blocks, laying all the new landscaping and building the new garden wall. They were fantastic and very friendly. She also found us a blacksmith to make new gates at very reasonable cost, and she made sure the project was progressing properly. We are delighted with the results of Becca's work and heartily recommend her service.
