project cost £209k+ Double Story extension and home renovations would not recommend. the design was good, the communication was decent; however the builder they use was not good started January with a June 5 finish date stated, finished on November 11th according to them, only because i had to keep emailing to get them to finish as he was busy with bigger projects. one person working on the project at a time. one month no one turned up for three weeks. A tutton building services was the company used. im still being emailed because they havent actually finished sealing the steel works on bean outside so wilkinson construction consultants are on my case telling me it needs to be resolved with a time limit, which i have no idea how to resolve. laminate floor sinking in even though i was promised it wouldnt get worse than it already is, will have to pay for someone to come and redo half of it as the floorboards are now on different levels. dimmer switches don't dim properly and change brightness by themselves. switches get hot and have to pay electrician to fix it. rendering not finished, builder took scaffold away after i said he was taking ages for a small project, had to pay £900 for more scaffold to fix contracted rendering to the new part of the house. bluelime was decent at first but sided much with their preferred builder. project was delayed from month 2 however the builder said it wasn't so project manager just agreed even though you can clearly see its behind. holes in light switches not even filled in so i have holes all around the house. getting minor shocks from them as well which im sure is not safe. plumbing running through bedroom with no filling inside to stop any noise so any flush wakes up person sleeping in that room. uneven flooring in new build. first excuse when mentioned was its never going to be perfect because its on old flooring, but when i mention the new build new flooring is uneven there is no response. very unprofessional in the end which is sad because the start of things seemed very promising. the architect done a good job with the design, if you use these refuse A Tutton Building Services. also be prepare for blue lime to side generally with the builder. if you use this company get the design and planning permission from them only do not waste your money on anything else with them just go elsewhere do your own research for a builder and team don't make my mistake

Bluelime took us all the way from architectural drawings to final build. We had a great connection with Ali our architect and project manager. He was excellent and we were very impressed by his eye for detail and his expertise on site. He was always patient in answering all of our questions and we had no hesitation in picking up the phone to ask him for guidance on aspects of the project. We also got many design tips from Ali, which we were very grateful for! Bluelime also recommended a fine building company called Home Republic, which they had previously worked with. Both companies were great, and we are grateful that we had such good people working on our project.

Bluelime have been unstinting in their support of our building project, making sure our plans got through strict conservation and green belt planning restrictions. Without their expertise and dedication, liaising with the local authority, our building plans would have been rejected.

Highly recommended! Matt leads the design and planning project for our new family home. The project is not short of challenge due to local conservation regulations. Matt is very patient and always supportive with all the requests that we have made. We are pleased with the final designs and drawings.

After a bad start with an architect that gave poor and slow service. Our switch to Bluelime turned out to be a wise move. Basically you get what you pay for and having an all in service saved a lot of time and stress on us.

Glen was very respectful, helpful and appreciative of the fact that I felt I needed a building management company to help and support me in my project. I never felt obliged or pressured at any time in taking up any of the services provided by Bluelime Home Design. He always encouraged me to contact him if I had any questions or if I wanted him to meet up and go through anything. I was always given time and lots of opportunities to express any concerns I had relating to the drawings / planning of the project. I was able to add my own ideas, where I felt I wanted to change something; But, where an idea was not possible, I was provided with clear and understandable reasoning as to why my suggestion or ideas may not have worked or gone well with the overall design of the project, which I was truly grateful for.

Glenn and his team are efficient, polite and respond to your enquiries straight away. They came to visit us twice and produced a Design Report that clearly outlined all the stages and costs involved in our project in an easily digestible way. This Included creative solutions to problems and further expansion ideas. Blue Lime even offered us great discounts. We would highly recommend.

Excellent architect services for our double storey extension, a consummate professional who provided solutions to complex issues raised by planning and neighbours. Glenn is great to work with, listens and offers different options. I can highly recommend him. Work due to start in early 2014.

We really needed more space for our 2 boys and our existing conservatory area wasnt really working for us. Glenn came to us on recommendation and has been a pleasure to work with. Glenn totally understood what we needed and came up with some really good ideas and various design options. He explained clearly how the whole process worked and really took on total responsibility so we did not need to worry about anything. Now we will have an amazing new house with large open plan Kitchen Diner and Island unit we always dreamed of. Our boys not only have their own En-suites but now have the entire loft area for games and cinema room when their friends come round meaning the rest of the house is free from clutter. If you want to extend your house and actually quite enjoy the process - Glenn is the guy to use. He really cares in getting it absolutely perfect for you and making sure he gets the best he can for the budget you have.
