About Us

I'm a passionate home chef and a Certified Kitchen Designer with 38 years of experience in the Kitchen and Bath Remodeling industry. I started cooking at an early age, and today have an excellent understanding of the culinary arts. I incorporate the entirety of this knowledge along with an artistic flair in all of my design work. I've completed over 1000 kitchen remodels in my career. Several of my kitchens have been featured in kitchen books and national design magazines. It is my belief that a kitchens should be more than where you prepare meals. It's the hub of your home and reflects your personality. The design should not be compromised for budget, but rather carefully thought out and planned according to your lifestyle. I needed to replace the 1968 kitchen that was in the townhome I purchased. Bruce was able to understand my budget (limited) and recommend products and design a layout to maximize the limited space I had to work with. At his recommendation removing the hvac soffet allowed to add in cabinets that extended to the ceiling giving me a lot more storage than I would have had, also really help with a finished look of the kitchen.

I had wanted to update/remodel my tiny 80’s galley kitchen for the past several years, but fears about the cost and finding a designer or contractor kept me from taking the plunge. Once I met and talked to Bruce at Le Gourmet Kitchen I realized I was ready to go for it. I had a basic idea in mind of how I wanted to open it up, but Bruce came up with some amazing ideas that I was excited to implement. Start to finish, the remodel went more smoothly than I had hoped, and I absolutely love my new kitchen. It has transformed the entire downstairs of my house from small, dark, and depressing, to someplace I am proud to share with my friends and family. Working with Bruce was so great I am excited to use him again to remodel my master bathroom. I am so glad I found Le Gourmet Kitchen! THANK YOU!

We re-modeled our Kitchen in 2013. We had Bruce do the design and ordered the cabinets through him but had another contractor do the installation. Although the finished project met our expectations in every way, in retrospect we should have let Bruce do the installation also. Bruce not only gave us the best price on the cabinets but also provided the best service. He is ever willing to come over and just throw ideas if you so wish. he treats every project as if he is doing it for himself and takes a lot of pride in the finished project. One of the things he did for us was to design a custom spice rack that swings and holds spices on both sides. The rack was custom sized for the containers we planned to use. I would heartily recommend Bruce for any kitchen remodeling project.

When my wife and I first met Bruce, we were immediately impressed by his enthusiasm and obvious passion in what he does. He was very professional and actually listened to our ideas and then made suggestions that build off our thoughts. It made us feel very involved from start to finish. His unique blend of creativity, imagination and humor made the design and remodel of our kitchen a pleasure rather than the trial we had originally anticipated. Our project finished on budget and on time. We have recommended Bruce to many of our friends and family. We love hanging out and cooking in our our kitchen and it is truly the heart of the house

Highly recommend Bruce and his team. We used them for complete kitchen remodel in 2014 and a master bath last year. Bruce is honest and met both budget and time commitments. Bruce is dedicated and passionate about his craft and we saw a lot of him before, during and after the projects, making sure everything was on target. Bruce knows his business and helped us with design ideas that we now love but probably never would have implemented if handling these jobs ourselves.
