Bryce Brown Artist

Bryce really developed his own distinctive style. As a European I instantly felt attached to his paintings. They create a unique atmosphere of rest and tranquility, almost like Monet, just in a contemporary manner. On the other hand his bruchwork sometimes reminds me of a gentle van Gogh and despite the fact that his human faces generally don’t have detailed expressions there is so much life and energy in his work.

Bryce is a true professional and a really nice guy as well. We first met him at an exhibition in Auckland in about 2004 (where we purchased Daisy Chain) and kept in touch when we moved to Tauranga - buying another 2 paintings along the way. His paintings are very easy to live with, and are always a talking piece when we have visitors! Love his work
