I asked James to maximize my unique lot based on the strict building guidelines of University Park. He executed the plan flawlessly. In addition, getting assistance with the design team as we made important decisions with fixtures, flooring and other items was done in a way that was exhilarating with no stress. Finally, James and his team impressed me the most by understanding that the landscaping was equally as important as the interior of the home. The visual drawings made my decision making much easier as I contemplated pool design, trees, shrubs, gates and even my garage door. I could not be any happier with the results of Canterbury Custom Homes.

We bought a Canterbury home that James completed and have loved it. It's well built, with thoughtful attention to detail. We were looking at Open Houses one Sunday and discovered one of James Davis' beautiful Canterbury Homes in Preston Hollow. The open concept home with lots of light was beautifully constructed. We checked references and heard glowing reviews, even one homeowner who had built two homes with James. So we worked with him, showed him pictures of features that we wanted in our dream home, and he built it. The outdoor screened-in porch with arched beamed ceiling looked exactly like the photo. The living room mantle, the staircase, the kitchen, all matched the inspiration photos. And when we weren't sure which direction to go, James steered us toward making wise decisions with our budget. Overall, the result was a quality project brought in as promised.

We purchased a new home from Canterbury Custom homes. Like all new homes there were issues that needed the Builders attention. The Builder was James Davis and every time we called James he responded. He made time to meet with my wife and I and review the issues. He coordinated repair crews to come out and make the repairs. James was attentive and professional and I would recommend him on antother project.

James Davis with Canterbury Custom Homes has been great to work with. We were very fortunate to run across one of James's homes in Preston Hollow area as it was just finished. The construction is excellent and James takes great care of his customers if any needs arise. We could not be happier and felt from day one as we had lived here for many years. We bought a new home from Canterbury Custom Homes in July 2018. We toured over 30 homes and theirs was our favorite from beginning to end. I wanted to wait a year before reviewing so I had time to see how things went with the home and builder. We can honestly say we'd be more than happy to buy another home from them in the future. I can't say enough about their responsiveness to any issues, (there were very few), that arose. Also, we continued to love all their custom design aspects well after we moved in. Their combination of beautiful, modern design meshes well with how functional the house has been for us. The Davis' live in the area and are fiercely protective of their reputation and deliver a fantastic, high quality product at value compared to other houses in Park Cities. Best builder and house we've ever dealt with and lived!!
