With our personalized service, we create inspired, one-of-a-kind designs that reflect the essence and lifestyle of our clients. At Chambray Avenue every client and every project is important to us. Ft. Lauderdale designer Carlos T. Adharsingh is known for his creativity in combining textures, colors, and styles. He places equal emphasis on defining the function of the space, as well as creativity, for the best design solution. In his 17 year history, he is proud to have worked through-out Southern Florida, the U.S. and internationally. From penthouse to townhouse, Carlos always earns his clients' trust, satisfaction and repeat business. Carlos Adharsingh’s academic training is diverse. Beyond studying Interior Design, he draws inspiration from his knowledge of Architecture, Fine Art, and Technical Drafting. Although the education he received at Miami's International Fine Arts College was of tremendous merit, the real education came after graduation. Working in the industry with some of South Florida top designers, Carlos worked towards earning his Florida Interior Design License, and establishing his own Interior Design Firm "Chambray Avenue".

We needed help in our house because my husband and I have different styles, we needed more functionality with our open space and could not agree on what we wanted. We called Carlos, a known designer to our family, he came to our house and just listened to both our preferred taste, what we wanted to accomplish and what our needs were. The design he came up with was WOW, amazing!!!! We trusted him with his suggestions and he truly captured what we wanted and had no idea how to accomplish. He went with us to the furniture store, came to our house on delivery day, we went shopping for accessories. The final result, amazing, we are able to seat 12 people in our dining table, have so much seating for our guests and our kids have more space to run around and be kids inside the house. We highly recommend Carlos, he really does understand the needs of his customers, is very friendly and genuinely a nice person to trust with the design of a space.

We have now done 3 projects with Carlos Aldarsingh from Chambray Avenue and have loved every one! He really gets to know his clients and what are tastes and needs are and then creates designs that work with our lifestyle and fit our budget. We first did our three bathrooms - each one is different and all are beautiful and solved problems we were having in each space. Then, we loved the master bath so much, we had him help us redesign the master bedroom. And last, we hired him to help us renovate and redesign our entire downstairs space. It was a big project involving flooring, lighting, window treatments and furniture - he helped us make the space much more functional for us - we use the rooms so much more already! But even more importantly, our home looks like a showplace now. With each project, Carlos really took the time to understand what we were looking for and what our budget was, and he was great to work with every time!

I recently completed a project with Carlos of Chambray in Deerfield Beach and the results were amazing. He is highly professional, he exceeded my expectations from a design and decorating stand point, right down to him always being accessible and answering my phone calls each time I had a question. I look forward to working with him on my next project and highly recommend him to anyone thinking of do any type of design or decorating project.

Carlos is one of the most orgnaized and detail oriented designer I have worked with. He is always on time and he has thought out most of the day ahead of time. He is very easy going and has a sense of humor. His very intellegent approach just reflect his high level of profesionalism.

We had a lot of damage to our home from 2 hurricanes. It took us quite a while to get contractors to replace the roof, ceilings, floors, drywall, and screen room. After finally getting the house back to normal I was ready to update the inside. My husband had a conference in Dania Beach and I went along. I decided to check out some design centers and it was my lucky day when I met Carlos! I truly enjoyed working with him. I was not sure what I wanted and I had a budget to consider. He really listened to me and spent hours going to fabric & furniture stores, showing me many options. We worked together for over a year as I added more rooms to my project. I still love everything that I bought, I would definitely work with him again.

We chose Carlos for our design project because of his creative ideas and bubbly personality. After our first meeting with Carlos, we recognized that his main objective was to design our home based on our needs: new location, new lifestyle, old habits, and how we entertain. Through engaging conversations, catalogue viewing, and shopping adventures, Carlos came to understand our design tastes, which were at times contradictory. While my husband prefers a more relaxed, casual look, my preference is more elegant with touches of sparkle. Carlos effectively combined both our taste, harmonizing style and function. My husband was exceptionally charmed by Carlos’ innovative skills at integrating some of our existing furnishings with new items and art, giving the “old stuff” a fresh new look. Our design project will soon be complete; however, we know that Carlos’ advice and design skills are only a phone call away.

Redecorating lobby of building using existing furniture - recovering. Purchasing additional items when needed. Carlos extremely knowledgeable, easy to work with and stayed within budget. Can recommend him to others - very pleased with outcome - very keen eye for color and design.

We hired Carlos to redecorate our condo lobby with a small budget. He rearranged all the furniture and brought us many fabrics to choose from to reupholster our furniture. The committee was very happy with Carlos's work. He was very professional and had a lot of patience and we get many rave reviews about our beautiful lobby.

Carlos has worked on several projects for me personaly and professionaly. Starting with my office, 9 years after his work the changes he implemented are still getting praises from our clients. Next, my home where he designed and directed the renovation of my home. He designed the changes, hired the contractors, and supervised all work. The result. A most comfortable living envirornment in which ALL who visit say how they would love to live here. And finally a new office project. Where we have very limited space. He has again figured a method of utilizing the space to achieve the outcome I am looking for. Other project dates as stated: Winter 2006 and Winter 2013 and July 2014 He is cost efficient and I have never felt that he has suggested inferior products in order to save money. Carlos Adharsingh is a very talented designer and very good to work with. He has fresh innovative ideas that are truly unique. He is very willing to work with any budget or project size and always mindful of sticking to the budget. His fees are extremely reasonable and he has always recommended and used very reliable people to do the work (painters, handymen, etc.) I have used him for several projects in two different homes and he is now working our kitchen renovation. Would highly recommend Carlos Adharsingh and Chambray Avenue llc.
