About Us

Catalog Ltd was launched in April 2012 by Dixie Mirowski and Ralf Farthing to bring the very best of European Design to Edinburgh. After losing several of Edinburgh’s most loved & longest standing Design Stores, the founders of Catalog have created a new haven for Contemporary Design in Scotland. Catalog’s collection features Design Classics alongside the very latest Contemporary pieces. Furniture & Lighting from Italy, Spain and Germany appears alongside Rugs from France and Denmark and Textiles from Scandinavia and the Isle of Bute. The collection is complemented by a few carefully selected accessory & giftware ranges. This extensive portfolio of product enables the Catalog team to specify product for a wide range of Interior Design Projects - both Residential and Commercial.

Fantastic service, great range of products and always helpful and supportive. Turned to Catalog for a number of items on a project recently and communication was great, and even when one item got lost (not their fault) they were on it and worked to get it resolved.

Catalog became involved in a project on which I was acting as the architect and project manager when the client needed help to decide on the furniture, colour scheme and light fixtures for his remodelled and extended home. Dixie from Catalog was both professional and personable and was able to guide the client through the process of selecting materials, colours and furniture through the use of samples and a good selection of catalogues and images of the items in situ. On completion the client declared themselves delighted with the work carried out and the project was chosen to be published in ones and Interiors Scotland.

We have hired Catalog for a number of projects now - when we've moved house or bought a holiday home - and have gone to them every time. Dixie, Ralf and Katherine always seem to know what we're looking for and the look we're trying to achieve. They help us track down just the right piece - whether it's a sofa, wardrobe, lighting, even a cushion or two - for our home. They're mindful of budget and happy to suggest something new. We're about to move into our new home and with their expertise we know we're going to love it.

Catalog designed and supplied me with a fantastic bespoke wardrobe which I am delighted with, also a great kitchen table and chairs and new lighting throughout my house. Their advice on what would look best was spot on and I would not hesitate to reccomend or use their services again.
