Danielle is incredible to work with. She really listens to you and makes your dream a reality. She has incredible taste and perfect instincts. Everyone who walks into my house begs me to help them with their house because it’s so stylish and unique but it’s all because of Danielle! She also happens to be extremely fun to work with. She kept me laughing and enjoying myself instead of stressing. I highly recommend her.

We hired Danielle after receiving her name from our GC and interviewing a few other designers. It was the best and luckiest decision we have ever made. With Danielle's guidance and vision, we are now truly living in the home of our dreams - actually, our home is beyond our wildest dreams. We started construction for a kitchen remodel, which ended up leading to remodeling our dining room, living room, laundry room and redoing all the floors in our house. The job was so much bigger than originally anticipated! Danielle helped us navigate it all. The decisions were overwhelming, but Danielle kept us on track. She was kind and patient with us and always responsive to our numerous texts and emails! We are so grateful our paths crossed with her. Every single decision she made was perfection. Danielle is creative, pivots easily when faced with needed changes due to unexpected obstacles, is incredibly talented, and is even nice to be around. She brings no ego, no drama - just getting the job done to perfection. We still have our upstairs to remodel - and you can be sure Danielle will be leading the charge. Don't be fooled by her understated, casual, sweet vibe - She is a designer phenom!

Danielle was an absolute pleasure to work with! She is efficient and professional. Danielle helped us to renovate our first home, including adding hardwood floors, designing a built in fireplace and cabinets, and designing and sourcing furniture for some of our rooms. She also recommended a very talented plaster and furniture designer to create a custom piece for our family room. Danielle has amazing taste and recommendations. We wanted something modern but with a nice relaxed look, went with almost every suggestion she had (from paint color, to wallpaper to floors) and are in love with our new home!

Danielle Lawless is such a wonderful designer to work with! We renovated our kitchen and two bathrooms and she designed the whole project from start to finish. Her knowledge, advice, and expertise were essential every step of the way. I had an aesthetic in mind for the project, but beyond that I had no idea what I was doing, so Danielle helped me refine and hone in on each design decision. It was important to me that each piece of the project worked together and complimented each other (even though they were separate rooms), and Danielle always kept that front of mind. We have twin babies and we lived in the house through the renovation, so Danielle's experience as a mother herself was so helpful as we navigated the tricky living situation. It was completely worth it - we are so happy with the space! Finally, I also really appreciated how her pricing was simple and straightforward (some of the other designers I considered before finding Danielle had complicated pricing structures that made me unsure how much I would end up spending). I can't recommend her enough!

Hiring Danielle was the best decision we made! As first time home buyers and home renovators, my husband and I loved the bones of our house but knew it needed some cosmetic changes. The house had very sharp, sponge painted colors everywhere and very dated light fixtures. Additionally the house had beautiful wood beams, but they were painted white. We wanted to restore the natural wood. We hired Danielle to help us with paint color selection for the whole house (walls, window trims, doors, kitchen cabinets), wood beam stain selection and light fixture selection. Some family members scoffed at us for wanting to hire a designer for this scope of work - let me tell you they were dead wrong. (By the way, these people also said we could select a paint color online - also dead wrong - so be careful who you listen to). That said, while we acknowledge the relative scope of the project was small, the level of IMPACT was enormous and not something we wanted to leave to chance. Out of all the designers we spoke to, Danielle was the most responsive, something we really needed because we wanted to move into our place as quickly as possible once the job was done. She was also the most fair in how long she thought the job would take (designers estimate their work in # of hours). Additionally, she had worked on homes that has a similar architectural style / feeling as what we wanted so it just made sense all around. I found her on Houzz while the other 2 were recommended by friends/family. Glad we chose her! Thanks Houzz! :) She also recommended a fantastic painter and beam restorer. We got quotes from 4 painters and we went with her recommendation. The quality of their work was fantastic and the price was pretty reasonable. For the light fixtures, she extended her designer discount to us so we could save some money on those too! Danielle knew the vision we had for the home and how it was a reflection of us as a couple. We are young in age, but are old souls. We like timeless over trendy. Every decision she helped us with realized this vision in ways we could not do on our own, especially as first timers. She really set us on the right path and gave us a great foundation which we could reference for future design decisions which we have to do on our own. The end result is utterly exquisite. Our house has been transformed! We went from kindergarten classroom to elegant, old world retreat. People who have come to see our house have remarked at how unique it is and how it is "so us." Our realtor even stopped by and said we have made back all our renovation money already! Even handymen that we've had come over have remarked at how gorgeous our house is! It is a wonderful feeling and we have such pride in our home now. I recommend her for any project big or small.

Danielle is a gem, a natural talent with a keen instinct for making the most of any space. She excels at every step of a design project, from the getting-to-know-you to the research and brainstorming, from articulating a vision to executing the finishing touches. Danielle offers a firm sense of style alongside an easy-going flexibility. Most of all, she encouraged me to take some chances that I would not otherwise have dared to take. Her enthusiasm and curiosity guided me in creating the perfect home that is sophisticated, warm, and welcoming.

Simply put, I can't say emphatically enough how much I enjoyed working with Danielle. In my case, I had just moved internationally and needed a complete apartment refresh including living, dining, bedroom and home office. She listened thoughtfully to my needs, gave me tasteful options to choose from, and occasionally pushed me to try something new with my style, but always within reason. She was always incredibly responsive and made the whole experience really wonderful and much less stressful. I will absolutely will work with her again!

We worked with Danielle to convert our dated 1948 cramped galley kitchen into an open concept floor plan and have been so happy with the outcome! As first time homeowners gutting the kitchen and removing a wall was often overwhelming but Danielle helped us stay focused and make decisions with confidence. Danielle was truly a godsend, guiding us towards materials and finishes that met our need for a highly functioning space while completely capturing our fun and playful personalities and love of aesthetics! I was super impressed by Danielle's amazing level of taste and thorough knowledge of vendors and suppliers. Some of the idea she shared (like a 9 foot island and floating shelves over the windows) turned into our most favorite elements of the design! I can't wait to work with Danielle on the rest of our home as we move on to new furnishings, painting and bathroom renovations, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to friends and family, she is a pure joy to work with!

Danielle is so great to work with. She has a good eye for detail and what will work in a space. She’s ethical, and honest too, and her design and styling will add the finishing touches to make you feel right at home. I have no hesitation in referring Danielle to my family and friends.

Danielle brings so many needed qualities to her job as a designer: a focus on your needs while contributing her point of view and excellent taste level, professionalism and humor, and stellar communication skills. We felt so confident in our collaboration with Danielle, and she's such a talent- it's her design elements that are still our favorite parts of our home. As I sit and write this review in the comfort of my newly styled living space (living room, dining room, entryway), I am so thankful to Danielle and the huge role she played in making it functional yet stylish. She took in consideration of lifestyle, our two young children, and used pieces we wanted to keep but managed to completely revamp and refresh the look. I love how easy it is to declutter too. She was into details, she listened well, and was extremely responsive to our needs/wishes.She is so worth it, and will be on our team when we are ready to take on a bigger project as well (kitchen is next).

Danielle came recommended from another friend who had used her prior, and we hired Danielle to assist us in the remodel/addition of our home. I was completely blown away by her enthusiasm, her design aesthetic and her knowledge of finishes! One of the super time consuming parts of a remodel is making all the small design choices that add up the final finished product (height of base trim, color of caulking, choosing faucets, door handle styles, etc). If feels like Danielle knows every single product on the market. When you say "I want a modern, but not too sharp, but also cozy entry way sconce" she will send you 5 options and low and behold they are perfect! She was also super on point with understanding how to design a family house with young kids. So glad we hired her! I recommend her to everyone now!
