Dan Fabian Custom Furniture provides high quality, handmade, custom designed furniture and cabinetry. Since 2002, Dan has been custom designing, handcrafting and installing furiniture, cabinets and millwork. His original pieces are crafted from sustainable materials. Dan uses FSC certified woods and when possible, he also uses reclaimed materials and domestic hardwoods harvested locally, from trees downed by storms or felled by homeowners and municipalities. All original pieces are hand-finished and hand delivered. Specializing in original furniture design, Dan Fabian Custom Furniture creates pieces mixing a modern sense of style with old world appeal. Each piece is designed and crafted by hand, ensuring every piece that comes from our studio is unique. We hired Dan to design and build built-in bookshelves and a desk space for our living room, as well as shelving and a media center for our den. From our first meeting with him, we were impressed by his attention to detail and innovative ideas. He was open and receptive to our suggestions and incorporated them into the final designs for both rooms. Throughout the construction process, he kept us regularly updated on the progress and both installations went smoothly with no delays or other issues. We're thrilled with the way both projects turned out: they perfectly fit the space and complement the style of both rooms. He also performed some much-needed custom work on our son's bunkbed. We can't recommend Dan highly enough, and will absolutely come to him with any future furniture projects we might have.

Dan Fabian did an excellent job replicating existing cabinets at a client's home. He also built a custom island and floating shelves for the same client. The workmanship was perfect! He went beyond my expectations! He did everything he said he would in a timely fashion, from pricing through delivery. I highly recommend him for all furniture and cabinet building, he is a true find.

I commissioned Dan Fabian to make a coffee table for us, after seeing some of his work at an exhibition. My husband and I were totally pleased with the result. At our first meeting, Dan intuitively understand the concept of what I wanted. Then he drew up a plan which was very much to our liking. Along the way he would give us updates on the progress of the piece - and the approximate time of completion. When he delivered the table, there were no surprises. In fact, due to the frequent email communication, we knew exactly what to expect. Now that it is sitting in our living room, we have received many compliments on the fine design and construction. We have only kudos for Dan Fabian!

I hired Dan Fabian to replace a totally broken down closet, a window frame in the bathroom and running boards around the bedroom. The result is a beautiful closet, very well made inside and out. The sliding doors and shelving are a pleasure after what was there before. The running boards look wonderful, neat and clean. The bathroom window over the bathtub is made of a material that water will not rot. iThe window replaced a rotten mess of a window. Looks great and is holding up with the shower on it. Great to have no rot or mildew. I would recommend Dan to anyone needing carpentry, especially finished work. I would definitely hire him again. He is pleasant to work with and very neat and clean.
