Georgetti Improvements Limited is a specialist design and build company which is locally owned an operated in Auckland. We are a part of the award-winning Refresh Renovation network. We offer an end-to end renovation service including project scoping, architectural design, Council consent processes, fixed price quote, build phase, cleanup and Code Compliance Certification. Our work is covered by a 10 year Building Warranty which is transferable to new owners on the sale of the property. Refresh Business Owner Dave Georgetti loves the challenge of making beautiful homes which cater for the demands of modern Auckland life – with a particular focus on indoor/outdoor living and entertaining in Auckland’s changeable climate. Dave has assigned himself the role of Renovation Consultant, and maintains the relationship with the clients from first contact and through the build. He really enjoys structural projects that require reconfigurations or extensions that greatly improve the ease and enjoyment of living in the home. Dave has been very successful at coming up with renovation solutions that maximise space, light, function and most importantly the budget. Too many architectural designers don't adhere to the availble budget, leading to designs that don't get built and wasted client dollars. As Refresh takes responsibility for, and is involved throughout the whole process, Dave retains a firm lead on the design stage to ensure the project is financially feasible as well as meeting the client's brief. Dave’s pre-Refresh CV includes various marketing and management roles, and several years as General Manager of Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications. Dave and wife Sue currently live in a large 1903 villa which they have renovated over about 7 years. With their 2 children no longer at home, their next house will likely be a bit smaller, a bit closer to the Waiheke ferry, and a doer-upper.
