Drawing Dept is a full-service architectural firm based in the Oakley neighborhood of Cincinnati, Ohio. Drawing Dept pursues a diverse range of work from modest residential additions and custom residential homes, to multi-family housing and commercial renovations. As with all of their projects, Drawing Dept works closely with the homeowners to develop the program and details of each design. Drawing Department has an amazing ability to translate ideas and hopes into practical AND beautiful living spaces. Our kitchen and adjacent mudroom was designed to accommodate the way a family of six truly lives. Each well planned detail functions in its own way to make daily living so much easier and more convenient. In addition, every time we walk into the space, we feel relaxed and happy--it is gorgeous. We couldn't be happier to recommend this team who listens carefully and uses innovative creativity to bring client design ideas to life.

Drawing Dept designed our dream home for us! They came up with a beautiful and very energy efficient design that incorporated all of our modern sensibilities. Now our home is the talk of our neighborhood! We could not be happier with the work that Evonne Morales did for us. She was professional, always available, receptive to our ideas and always followed through. She easily met every deadline. We feel so lucky to have shared this accomplishment with her!

I can't say enough about working with the drawing dept team on our kitchen remodel! They took what were our initial sketchy thoughts and turned them into something amazing. We were trying to keep the original spirit of the home but bring the kitchen into the 21st century. They totally got the concept and took it beyond what we ever imagined. Besides the architectural aspect, they brought ideas to round out the fit and finish as well. As mentioned in other reviews, their attention to detail is second to none. I hope we get an opportunity to work with them again.

We had an awesome experience with The Drawing Dept. We worked with them for about a year and half on a pretty major whole house renovation. They listened to what we needed, wanted, and wished for and brought it all together to help us create our dream! They are very thorough and thought of every detail. They definitely went beyond just drawing us floor plans-- they helped us make selections when we needed some guidance, answered interior design questions, and advised on colors when we just weren't sure. All to help us keep our vision on track. Very helpful, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. We loved the friendly atmosphere and team work approach they took with our project. I'm so glad we won't be renovating again any time soon, but if we were I would go directly to The Drawing Dept.

With focus on residential & commercial projects several threads run common through both: creativity, attention to detail & just plain WOW factor. It's really no surprise that this relatively young firm has racked up so many awards & acknowledgments.

After interviewing four different architectural firms, we selected Drawing Dept because of their approach and philosophy for working with clients. The team worked hard to understand our vision and deliver a home design that was everything we were looking for and more. We were living in a different city during the beginning of the process and the team was great at working with our schedule and tailoring their approach for our style. Throughout the process, they were diligent about making sure the project was on track and coaching us through the first time building process.

I hired Drawing Dept. for what turned out to be a five year custom home building project. Throughout that time we enjoyed a highly collaborative experience and I was impressed continually with their creative genius, personal service, integrity and ability to listen to the client and really hear our family's specific needs and quirks. My vision became their vision, not the other way around. At Drawing Dept. you will never find a cookie-cutter approach; your project is always special and unique. Our dream house really is better than we ever could have imagined. We love it more everyday. It is the perfect marriage of form and function. I would never engage any other architectural firm but Drawing Dept.

My kitchen/ first floor renovation was an amazing process with Drawing Dept. They showed an uncanny ability to transform my vaguely expressed needs and wants into a beautiful design that transcended anything I could have imagined. My architect willingly offered assistance with any decision no matter how small, including interior design, fixtures, and furniture. I LOVE my new space! It's now been one year since completion, and I still have not found anything I would do differently in hind sight. Thanks, Drawing Dept.!

Drawing Dept designed our award-winning screened porch and our renovated kitchen (hopefully soon to be award-winning as well!). They did an amazing job. They are the best shop in town for modern architectural design.

Commented: What kind of windows do you have and what size are the taller windows.Hi, thanks for your question. There are no windows in this image, just openings at the porch that are fitted with insect screens. The porch openings are 8' tall.
