Working with Kande was one of the best decisions we have made. Kande blended new items with some that we already had so that we would not go over budget. I loved the design boards so that I could easily see what the finished product could look like. Living a few states away Kande made this process so easy and stress free. I absolutely love how our condo turned out and would highly recommend Kande.

We did not consider hiring a designer for our new home construction until about a year into the project. One of the subcontractors suggested I interview Kande Iken because she has fresh ideas and she thought we would work well together. My husband and I liked Kande right away and she truly was the right person for us. We built a contemporary style home in a mountain community and while I know she could have helped us regardless of our style, she was more than willing to work outside the box to help us achieve the look we wanted. I appreciate that Kande doesn't sell any products herself so she doesn't push particular lines and she was very happy to work with the items we kept from travels, family, previous homes, etc. She helped with everything from paint colors, tile and blinds to reframing art we didn't think would work in the new house and selecting some new furniture that we love. Kande has great enthusiasm and is genuinely fun to work with. Our previous contact with designers was that they expected to give us two, maybe three choices for absolutely everything and we should rush through all decisions, but Kande never pushes for her vision or simply to get finished and on to the next job. Whether you have difficulty making choices or you have strong opinions about your taste, Kande has the ability and energy to help you get what you want, with sensitivity for your budget. We heartily recommend Kande, regardless of style or the size of your project.

I would like to express my true appreciation for Kande's help designing our office space. We are a company of three who moved out of the owner's basement for the first time into a 1000SF space. We had a relatively small budget but a big space to fill. Kande used her 3D space layout program to give me a sense of what belonged where and then spent time with me, both online and in the store, to pick out the furniture. She knew which stores to visit and where the best pieces could be had. She had to work with the landlord's paint color and carpet choice and the strange window placement and lighting and did so excellently! We are SO happy with our space. It is modern, efficient, attractive, professional and all-in-all a pleasant place to spend our working days and have clients visit. My boss was overjoyed with the outcome and that in return made me look great! We all highly recommend Kande!

Kande helped us hone in on a few realistic, affordable options for each step of the project. She began by creating a look book to see how a new paint color might work with my existing furniture. It was inspiring and gave me the confidence to move forward.
