As landscape designers, we have had the pleasure of working with DMS on several North Shore projects. Recently these projects included collaborating on a unique pool house, and a new free standing garage. We have always enjoyed working with Dan and his team, and Clients appreciate his attention to detail and ability to listen.

We worked with DMS Design to design and implement a 3rd floor renovation in our historic home. The project included a zoning variance and building permit extension which DMS successfully navigated before construction began. Dan was very accessible during the project, a very good listener, and we were always able to collaborate together to come up with a reasonable solution to any challenges we faced. Thank you DMS!

DMS was the architect for a fairly large project involving three small additions and one large one to our single family home. The project was somewhat difficult, as the home is an older contemporary with some work done by prior homeowners. DMS created a number of possible designs and worked with us to select the ones that would work best for our project. We were very satisfied with the knowledge, responsiveness and efficiency of all of the personnel at DMS.

We did a complete kitchen remodel, with an addition to the existing property, new deck, cement board siding, and other small projects incorporated during the same timeline. working with DMS Design was a great experience. From the initial design process, and the way they could take homeowners ideas and incorporate them into a workable design. Community Action for Better Housing a non-profit developer of affordable housing hired DMS as the architect for our Oscar Romero House project in New Bedford, MA. This project entailed the substantial rehabilitation and historic restoration of a large, neglected mixed use building in the City's south end. The property was converted into 12 affordable rental units with community space and management office on site. We were very satisfied with the services we received from DMS and would not hesitate to give our recommendation for other similar projects.

We were so pleased with the design and support Dan and his team provided for the renovation of our 1790s center hall colonial. To begin, the design that Dan created was creative and fit perfectly with the character of the house, with our requests and with our budget. Dan and his team were very helpful in navigating through permits and town by-laws, and facilitating great communication with the builder and with us until the project was completed. DMS's work for us was incredibly thorough, detail-oriented and professional. Novices with home renovations, my family embarked on a $250,000 renovation of a vacation property that had not had any structural investment in generations, and DMS was a valued partner in this effort. From initial design ideas through to concrete plans, and even with change orders when we encountered structural issues that needed to be remediated, DMS was always available to support our project and delivered work product on time and according to their fee estimate. In addition, we conducted a competitive bid process for our contractor and DMS provided us with multiple potential bidders, one of whom we ended up selecting and we have been thrilled with his work and professionalism. We would not have gotten our project done on-time and without material cost overruns without DMS. I would use them again in a second and I recommend them to friends.
