Douglas and Bec

Douglas and Bec - first established under the name Workroom Design - has been producing furniture and lighting since 2006. Designer Bec Dowie started the business with her father Douglas Snelling, and the pair were later joined by Bec’s husband Paul Dowie. All of our furniture and lighting is handmade by Douglas, in his Clevedon workshop, with help from some very talented local artisans. Our collection features materials such as oak and American ash and has grown to include spun metals, copper, brass, linen, leather and blown glass.
