We built with Harpe in 2014 and love our home. Unfortunately we had major issues with the roof installation and product as the roof aged. The original installer is out of business and no one uses the shingles we had anymore. We decided to replace the entire roof, Harpe stepped up and helped offset the cost, eight years after construction! They went out of their way to make it right.

Harpe built our dream home and our expectations were exceeded throughout the project and the final product delivered to us. The whole team who assisted us through the journey, were amazing, responsive and always professional. If you are building a home in SouthEast Wisconsin, this is the team you should select. Our second time building with Harpe and we couldn’t of made a better choice! Phil helped us design our dream custom plans, Trish was amazing in the design center, and Jason was excellent at managing our project. We couldn’t be happier with our experience and our home.

Our family decided it was time to move up to a bigger home. As we started looking at existing houses, we realized we could not find exactly what we were looking for in our price range. That all changed when we walked into the Harpe Development model and met with Dustin and Cory, the owners. Dustin quickly assessed what we were looking to build and showed us a couple of prints that were within our price range. Although there was no pressure to sign a contract or build with him that day, he was very happy to take us to view a house, in trim stage, similar to the print we liked so we could get a feel for the layout. Within 24 hours Dustin had sent us a price to build the house with all the upgrades that we had discussed in our meeting. At this point we still had to find a lot, and again Dustin went above and beyond giving us information on available lots that he thought were a good deal in the current housing environment and in the area that we wanted to build. We closed on a lot at the end of January and Harpe Development dug the hole on February 1st. The in house designer was very easy to work with and continually updated and changed the plans until the house was exactly what we wanted. During the build process, Cory was fantastic at returning phone calls and meeting with us to discuss and re-discuss the details that we were putting into the house. Since we had never built a house before we required a lot of assistance which seemed second nature to Dustin, Cory. Our house was finished on 5/14/10 (three months and two weeks for the total build) as promised and on budget. We are very happy with our new, Energy Star qualified, home. It is EXACTLY what we wanted. We could not have had a better experience building a new home. We would strongly recommend Harpe Development to anyone considering building or moving.

Thank-you Harpe Development for building our beautiful new home!! Building for the first time was a little scary, but Dustin and his team took our fears away and built us our dream home. Coming from a house with only three bedrooms he created a home for us that had an open feel with 5 bedrooms. Dustin and his design team are great listeners and has always been there to answer questions for us. They are easy to get a hold of and always calls back in a timely fashion. Thank you to John for his help with all of our selections to make our home feel like home. I would and have recommend Harpe Development to family and friends. WE LOVE our new home and could not be happier!!!

Could not have asked for a better builder through this journey. Phil and Tricia have been nothing short of amazing! Phil was amazing to work with. Honest, quick to respond, and greatly valued his input. Tricia was definitely a Godsend to us and this house wouldn’t have been as beautiful without her input! She was so patient with me at the end especially when it was getting stressful! Special thanks to Jason for getting this completed on time! Everything was up front, no hidden costs, no hidden agendas. If we ever built again (let’s hope we don’t lol), I would honestly never build with anyone but Harpe. ❤️

I want to sincerely thank Harpe Development for our beautiful home. With 4 children now, we really out grew our previous house and it was time for an upgrade. And WHAT an upgrade it is! Building a house is not the easiest thing to do especially when you re not handy or design savvy. But Dustin, Cory, John & Jason really made the process an easy one. I can t imagine if I didn t have Cory & John to help me pick all the things that make a house beautiful and a good fit for my family. Any request I had was always granted, but not before we discussed our options and pricing first. That s what I loved the most. There were no hidden costs, or attempts to push upgrades in places where we didn t want or need them. Harpe was always very straight forward with all so there weren t any surprises. Any time an issue occurred a solution was provided . This surprised me as well...given we were building a pretty large house. Honestly for all the things that went right when building with Harpe, they exceeded our expectations. A special shout out to Jason for this! He always had a handle on everything on-site, working with contractors and fielding my phone calls/emails daily with questions or changes. His response time was always quick and courteous! Everyone told us building a house was awful, too much work and not worth the time. Apparently those people didn t build with Harpe. I m sure glad we didn t listen. Thank you everyone for the beautiful home! We look forward to a lifetime of memories thanks to you!
