Eric and his team have a vision that they put to life. They design and then build with the customer in mind. I Have worked with Eric on many projects and his experience and expertise are bar none.

At this point were more than two years into a full, nearly $300K landscape overhaul that was supposed to be completed well over a year ago. We hired Eric and Terrain because he had a unique and interesting vision for our unusual, modern property in an otherwise traditional New England town. Our biggest complaint is not the craftsmanship of the subcontractors or the overall design, but the constant procrastination and excuses for not completing simple, timely work throughout the entire process, and failing to deliver on agreed upon timelines and updates. We've been promised —LITERALLY FOR MONTHS— that were only 2-3 weeks away from completing the project. Many aspects of the project get started then immediately stall and don't move beyond the initial stages for weeks, until we start to complain and pressure Eric. After which there are sudden and immediate bursts of work, then things stall out again until we start pressing him again. Over and over and over again. The companies he's hired are great, do great work, efficiently and politely, but Eric has consistently lied to us about contacting subcontractors, completion dates, and at this point is no longer responding to our attempts to wrap up this project. It has gotten to the point where I have had to contact the sub-contractors individually, to have them come and fix and/or finish the project we have already paid Eric/Terrain for. We literally have a live electrical wire buried somewhere in our front yard, lights that were installed incorrectly, missing lights, no water or drain to our outdoor kitchen, missing plantings, a failed sink installation, missing plaster in our pool, and splitting wood on our new deck. We have been after Eric for months to wrap up this project, and he hasn’t done anything in over 9 months.

I've had distinct pleasure of working alongside Eric and his fantastic crew at Terrain Planning for many years. The design knowledge and overall project vision is second to none, and their usage of technology helps to visualize projects in a way that is simple to understand. I look forward to continued collaboration with this fine firm of design professionals.
