Eric Denny Architecture

My husband and I are doing a basement renovation, and this is our first time doing any sort of remodel on our house. We originally were unsure if we would need an architect at all, but we decided to interview a few to determine if it would be helpful. After meeting with Eric, we felt that his down to earth, professional and thoughtful approach would fit well with us and our project. Eric’s ideas from the start were fresh and creative with the space that we have. He did not try to push his ideas on us – he wanted to help us create a space that worked for us, not his own idea of what would work best for us. The quality we appreciate most in working with Eric is that he listens to us – our ideas, requests, or helping answer questions from the interview process into the construction phase. When we asked where we would go to pick out finishes, he put together a list of resources for us of his favorite places in Seattle noting the owners/sales team to contact who he had worked with before. Eric has significant experience in the industry, and it really was so helpful to us being new the remodel process. He walked us through the process from design ideas, layouts for our basement, alterations for things we realized we wanted after the fact, finding and securing a local general contractor, reviewing the GC bid, obtaining our permit with the city, etc. We are also very grateful that Eric has worked extremely well with our contractor so we are all in the loop as the project progresses. Eric has been a wealth of knowledge and so helpful through the whole home remodel process. We would highly recommend Eric Denny and his services to anyone looking to hire an architect.
