About Us

We are a 3rd generation family owned and operated general contracting company offering an array of services. These services include new home construction, additions, alterations and remodels, garages, concrete work, and much more. The Forrest's have been building in Florida since the late 1880's in Monroe County. At Flagship Construction we believe in the value of our experience. Our president has been in the construction industry for over 50 years starting in Pennsylvania in the 1940's. Earnest Forrest has worked his way through the ranks of the industry starting as a masonry contractor and progressing into the building and remodeling field. Over the years, Mr. Forrest has built countless homes, in addition to performing many remodeling projects. Moreover, he became a licensed real estate broker, enabling him to offer each client more, thus creating "The Flagship Advantage." What is the "The Flagship Advantage"? We started with Mr Forrest in 10/2022 . Building our forever home he was contracted for cabinetry and crown, baseboard , window sills, hanging doors. To date 11/11 2023 we have paid him over 74,000 . No crown or baseboard installed. 10 doors of which 1 door severly damaged.Drywall damaged from hammer. We have cabinets that are warped, malaligned, non sanded, color not matched. Paint runs, boxes not squared. To date only 1 vanity is complete in guest bath and the plumbing holes were cut too large and they tried to cover them with tape. On the built in finish is cracking and sitting on a cart in our great room for weeks.. The plywood on boxes splitting. Our expensive wood flooring was damaged with gouges. 13 months have passed and we still have no closet cabinets in master, laundry cabinets don't fit missing doors. Kitchen cabinets with gaps and most with no doors. Plywood splitting.Front panel to support 10 foot quartz bar with no center supports. We have had to rent a storage unit for months for our furnishings. He stated if we were lucky we may be in our new home by Jan. He is untruthful, makes excuses for taking over a year to do cabinetry, We now are pursuing a lawyer. We have to continue to live in our camper and cannot proceed with countertops, plumbing etc. He has ruined our holidays and taken our money

In summary here are SOME of the deficiencies: 1. PAID in full $7,300.00 2. Upper and lower cabinets don’t align up. 3. No crown molding or finish work near ceiling. 4. Both upper doors are severely warped. Why would a cabinet company sell and install a customer warped doors? 5. Several bottom fronts are warped. 6. Distance of left upper door and right upper door to ceiling is a 1/2 difference. 7. Some of the groves look like they used a Dremel and not a router. 8. Some bubbles in the paint. 9. Some unsanded areas on the fronts. 10. Handles for drawers and cabinets need installation. I would not recommend Jesse Forrest or Douglas Forrest of FLAGSHIP CONSTRUCTION COMPANY OF SOUTHERN FLORIDA INC. (aka: FLAGSHIP CABINETRY, aka: FLAGSHIP CONSTRUCTION, located at 4024 43rd Ave, Vero Beach, FL 32960 and 4165 Dow Rd, Suite 32, Melbourne, FL 32934) or any of his companies as we feel they provided inferior service and poor workmanship along with not standing behind their work and seeking excuses of everyone else but themselves.

Jesse built pullouts for all my lower kitchen cabinets. Actually one cabinet was fitted with a lift for my very heavy electric mixer. I hope to use it now that I can get it up to my counter. Great invention. The drawers are maple. The installation was completed by Jesse’s son, Doug and another associate also named Doug. They were a great team! I’m delighted with my pullouts. Thank you Flagship Construction!

We received quotes from three construction companies for our kitchen/bathroom remodel. We chose Flagship Construction because we were impressed with Jesse's knowledge, honesty, and being able to have custom built cabinets for a great price. In the design of the remodel, Jesse did a great job maximizing all usage of space for the the new cabinets. A unique aspect of the construction process was that Jesse set up the kitchen cabinets halfway through the process to be certain it was exactly as I wanted it, and if not, it could be changed. Jesse and Doug's quality of work, attention to detail, and desire to truly make their clients happy with the process were excellent. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Everyone who has seen the kitchen and bathroom remodel have been extremely impressed with the quality of work.

Jesse did a great job designing and manufacturing a completely new kitchen. He took a relatively small kitchen and gave us more storage space with less cabinets. He has a great vision for cabinet design. The cabinets are custom made and are of excellent quality. After completion he will come back to insure everything is well adjusted and that all paint finish is of a professional quality.

Jesse Forrest / Flagship Construction Co. completely renovated our kitchen in 2015. This was no small task as the room dimensions were small and very irregular! Jesse completed a design and built our custom cabinets maximizing our storage and adding much needed counter space. We can't say enough about the quality of Jesses' product and workmanship, he went above and beyond helping with all aspects of our renovation. As a note, we live in Colorado and this job was completed without our supervision. We trusted Jesse and his crew completely. These are among the nicest and most trustworthy men we have ever met. I would not hesitate to use them again and have highly recommended them to our neighbors. You might see pictures of our renovation on this site, project "Linda".

Hired Jessie to completely redo my kitchen. From the first time I met him he was very professional. Went above and beyond my expectations. My finished kitchen is beautiful. Jessie hand builds each cabinet. He can make any size you need. His workmanship is top notch. What was important to me was that he does the job completely, from removing the cabinets, plumbing, electric, tile work, anything to complete the job. You will not regret hiring Flagship Construction!!

Jesse Forrest, owner of Flagship Construction Company, provided excellent professional services for me on more than one occasion. He painted interior and exterior areas of my house, repaired or hung doors, installed ten (10) ceiling fans, some up to 16 feet high, and rewired as necessary. Jesse also constructed a 40 inch high concrete and stucco wall the length and width of my back porch, and then screened in the remaining area. All of his work is excellent, and done in a timely manner. I highly recommend him for any job, large or small, which you may have. If I were to build a new home in the area, I would consider him to be the contractor.

I reviewed the work of Flagship at several properties in the area. The work quality was second to none. I contracted with Flagship to remove and replace all of my single pane windows and replace them with double pane glass. The only problem that we in countered was that the window manufacture screwed up on the sizes of several windows that pushed our completion date back. I know enjoy 60.00 dollar electrical bills instead of the 100.00 dollar plus, and the street noise has disappeared. Steven Smith

I have been working with this company to do some major reconstruction to my home. My home has been reconfigured, and I am going to have the company reconfigure and renovate my bathroom. The work is very neat and professional. All the minor details have been addressed. I looked at two other companies to do the work; however, I found one company to be arrogant, and not client friendly, and the other company I did not get the bond that I got with Flagship.
