We employed AND architects to redesign a 3-story 1960's house in great need of complete renovation. With their tremendous help we tackled planning permission in a conservation area, and an extensive refurb (complete gutting: plumbing, wiring, lighting, new windows, roof, stairs, and structural work). They were extremely quick and efficient, have an in-depth understanding of construction, and have a finely tuned design aesthetic which delivered us with wonderful ideas and solutions for our new home - which is a joy to live in now that it is completed. I can highly recommend them on to anyone looking for an architect to assist them in a renovation project.

AND was given a brief to redesign the interior of the house including construction of a rear extension so as to maximise the use of available space. AND also advised on all aspects of interior design. The work required a total strip out and rebuild of the interior of the property. Fariba and Ian of AND were a joy to work with. They provided step by step guidance and managed the project in meticulous detail. They have transformed the interior space of a modestly sized London townhouse to accommodate the needs of a family of four. I cannot praise their vision and professionalism highly enough.

AND masterminded the complete renovation of our Grade 2 Listed property in Barnsbury, Islington, and did a superb job throughout. Fariba brought our ideas to life, pushed them through a tricky planning process, and made sure a gorgeous 4 bedroom house was delivered to us on time and on budget. She was always at hand to answer a question or (gently) prod a builder, and made us feel accompanied from beginning to end. In short: I cannot recommend her warmly enough!

Commented: need help with fireplaceI would keep the 'brick' and paint the surround same colour as your walls in eggshell. The colours you are aimong for will work well with the brick effect.
