FMS Projects were the General Contractors for one of our residential remodel projects in Piedmont. The scope included extensive interior remodeling for kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms and lower-level. The FMS team, under the direction of Frank Silver, maintained a high level of professionalism and delivered quality craftsmanship throughout the fast-paced construction project. They and their sub-contractors were reliable, considerate, and thorough. We were very happy with the completed project – it met our overall design and detail expectations.

My business is photographing architectural projects. As such I have the opportunity to see and photograph hundreds of design projects, and I also get to see the rapport that my clients, the architects, designers and contractors, have established with the homeowners. I have photographed close to a dozen projects for Frank Silver and FMS projects over the past six years. I must say the quality of his work is top-notch and he always seems to be on good terms with his clients, and it is always a pleasure to photograph his work.

Frank Silver and I met nearly a decade ago thru a business networking group called BNI (although in different chapters). I am a Designer in the SF/Oakland area and have had the deep pleasure of working with Frank and FMS Projects.; most recently on a very complex, design-intensive whole-house remodel in the East Bay Hills. Frank was absolutely fantastic, and a Designer's dream -- i.e., when there was an issue with how the design integrated with what he could do on the construction end (and there always, ALWAYS will be), he actually picked up the phone, well in advance(!), and worked to solve anything and everything simply, expediently, and cost-effectively -- while keeping design integrity paramount. I have to say, this is exceptional. It speaks to his preparation, flexibility of mind, and wealth of experience that he can keep the client's goal for the project above his own need to keep his guys moving every second, damn the results. I wish people like Frank were the norm in the construction business, but they are rare birds indeed. FMS Projects remains my contractor-of-choice on my Kitchen and Home Remodels.

We've brought Frank and his group in on several projects, and have always been amazed at their thoughtful approach to planning their work. Even with only early drawings in hand, their estimates are far more detailed (and therefore much more useful in balancing the scope and budget) than any other contractors. The level of insight and detail they provide is comparable to large construction firms ten times their size.

FMS Projects provided preliminary cost estimates for a complicated, large remodeling project. Their estimating was accurate and their presentations were highly professional. The clients were extremely pleased with FMS Projects.

Frank Silver is a very good contractor who is dedicated to providing quality work in a timely manner while meeting the homeowners' budget. I find Frank' s approach to construction very efficient and logical with great foresight and anticipation of the problems that come with the project. When I went for a site visit, Frank had all the questions laid out complete with possible solutions. The project was run smoothly and the end product well finished and well crafted. Frank understands construction well and is also a good project manager. He knows to follow through the architect's design intentions and is quite creative in problem solving. I am confident I am good hands when Frank is the contractor of my project.
