We worked with Graeme Wrack from Gel Architects on our new build, and found the whole experience to be incredibly positive. Graeme was with us from the beginning, helping with site selection - we eventually settled on a site that was not even on our radar due to it's gradient, but he had the vision, and the abilty to explain to us what (with a bit of earthworks) it could be. He produced drawings that were almost exaclty what we wanted and fitted our brief of a functional family home that was a little bit funky. The result was a house with an incredible view that works very well as a family home, and also for entertaining. We couldn't be happier with the result.

As a building firm, we have been renovating homes in Auckland for 23 years. During that time, we have worked with numerous architects. However, Graeme Wrack is by far and away our "top man". As a designer, he is truly gifted. He alters all styles of houses so that they not only look right, but suit their family needs. As a professional, he is an excellent listener, is unflappable and makes projects flow smoothly. We wish all architects were like him. Hans and Wendy.
