(price stated includes all the landscaping, plants etc) Lindsay really listened to what I was looking for from my garden. She took in everything I needed/wanted and added more things that I’d never thought to do like the water feature. She created a lovely space to sit and chill & watch the world go by; relaxing colours & aromas; space to hang the washing (practicalties have to be taken into account). I also wanted low maintenance & for it to be suitable for my dog (he likes watching out for cats & sheep!) and all this is packed into a small 4mx5m plot. Well the garden is just over 2 years old and it carries on hitting everyone of those requirements. The camomile needs a bit of weeding & cutting back every now & then but that’s so relaxing to do as it gives off a beautiful aroma. The herbs & original plants are all going strong and the bay trees are flourishing. I’ve gradually been adding a few more plants and have decided to add some splashes of colour to the original soft blue & purple palette. I really love my garden and enjoy spending time in there. I took part in the local Open Gardens trail last year and all by visitor were very impressed. RHS Tatton might have awarded a Bronze but what to they know … it’s a definite Gold in my book!

We recently asked Lindsay to call and create a design for our small countryside garden. We had a budget to stick to and Lindsay came up with a fabulous design including planted areas and a water feature that suited our requirements. We were more than happy with the ideas she came forward with and would highly recommend her services. You will not be disappointed!

I met Lindsay when she was exhibiting at Tatton Flower Show and asked her to design a garden at my new build house. I wanted an easy-care garden which she designed around my needs. I am delighted with the outcome and would recommend her for great design and ideas.

Lindsay designed an area within our garden which consisted of removing a large rockery and creating two patio areas. From the outset Lindsay was professional and sensitive to our needs regarding purpose, planting and budget. She also worked closely with the builder of the project to ensure that her and our expectations were met. She was extremely organised and efficient and her final plans showed great consideration of working with existing garden features and a sound knowledge of horticulture. The two patio areas were linked with steps which follow the circle of the patio giving the impression of an additional circle from above. Whilst being very practical, they also complement and make a real difference to the overall effect. Lindsay also introduced grasses into the planting scheme, which have added height and movement and is something we had not considered before.

I wanted a design for seated/bbq area within a specific budget. I was listened to and my thoughts and ideas were acted upon. When I was in doubt, I was given good advice and Gingko garden design went the extra mile to find a ground product that was both within my price range and to my liking.
