Gold Star Construction is a custom home builder that services the Rio Grande Valle from South Padre Island to McAllen and beyond. Our custom homes are built with extensive proven experience in performance building (Low HERS scores and leakage testing). Our expertise is energy efficiency, water management, proper construction methods, & QUALITY construction. With over ten years of experience in performance building, water intrusion repairs, & home inspections, we continue to build a better product. We are not salesman builders or production builders. Commented: Hi. What type of floor was installed?This was 3/8 travertine in a 20x20 size. The vender was Esmer tile from Mcallen, TX.

Commented: What is the color of the cabinets do they have a glaze on them?Hi, sorry for the late (very late) response, but no, the cabinets are knotty alder stained. The aged look and feel come naturally with this wood selection.
