I called in Anna from Habitus when I moved into my new flat. I had two big reception rooms and after a few ‘interesting’ purchases of my own, I realised that unaided I may have created Liberace’s palace! I therefore decided it was best to call in the experts! From beginning to end Anna was fantastic. At our initial meeting, Anna asked me what I liked, what my aspirations were for the space and whether I wanted anything specific put into the space. Anna came up with imaginative designs which I would never have managed myself, and walked a perfect line of giving me what I thought I wanted as well as enlightening me to things I would never in a million years have considered...and it all worked and came together perfectly. Her eye for colour, detail and sourcing the perfect pieces was fantastic. Anna also had a fantastic book of tradespeople recommendations to carry out the work and they were all a credit to her. I enjoyed so much having Anna create my dream space. All my friends comment on how great it is, and I am so glad That she knew just when and how much to push me to ultimately create something absolutely stunning. I’ll definitely be giving Anna a call when I have more renovations to do. She is a lovely person and a joy to work with, delivering fantastic results.

We contacted Anna shortly after moving into a new home as we were struggling to update the rooms in a way that had a modern feel but was sympathetic to the character of the house (the property was built in 1905). Anna has been fantastic, she is full of ideas and enthusiasm and has really driven the project forward. She has a great set of trade contacts who execute her designs to a high standard. We are very happy with the rooms completed so far and continue to work with Anna on the rest of the house. I highly recommend.

This is the third project Anna has done for us and once again did not disappoint. Advised us on the design and layout of the kitchen, master bedroom with en-suite and guest bathroom along with the decoration of all rooms. Doesn’t bamboozle you with too many colour combinations and quickly understands your personal taste. Always managed to meet our budgets and deadlines. Would definitely use for any projects in the future.

Anna at Habitus Design is absolutely awesome. Our project was to completely refit our bathroom, kitchen and utility room and also to change the decoration scheme in the lounge and upstairs and downstairs hallway. We are absolutely delighted with the result. Anna came up with great ideas for (in particular) the kitchen and the bathroom that we would never in a million years have thought of ourselves. She is a total design genius! She is also very easy to work with - enthusiastic, professional, always mindful of our likes and dislikes, never imposing ideas on us that we were not comfortable with and good at keeping costs down where possible. Highly recommended.

I used Houzz to find a local interior designer and this is how I first made contact with Anna of Habitus Design Ltd. I'd been living in my house for several years with an idea of the interior look I wanted to achieve, but always failing to actually manage it on my own. I also felt quite daunted by the prospect of maybe redoing floors as well as walls and I let this put me off taking any action for too long. I eventually decided I needed the help of an interior designer. I'm so glad I found Anna - my house is now exactly the way I've wanted it to be for years. I was initially uncertain about the role of an interior designer - did I have to find someone who shared my 'taste'? Would I end up with a style that was echoed in all the designer's other projects? Would it just add complications and cost? From the moment I met Anna, these concerns were allayed: her enthusiasm is boundless and she doesn't in any way impose her own style on to you - in fact she was able to look at my house and the choices I had made so far to interpret my style, coming up with complementary ideas that helped to 'finish' what I had started and also to kickstart other areas I had been shying away from. Her amazing understanding of colour has helped smooth out my own clumsy attempts and my wall colours are all now exactly what I hoped to achieve - but had no chance of doing so on my own. She also sourced and suggested some amazing wallpapers for me - my new textured wallpaper might be one of my favourite house things now! In addition to assisting with paint colour, wallpaper options, flooring styles and accessories, Anna also created design plans for use by tradesmen to build a new cupboard enclosure around my freestanding kitchen items. Yes, employing an interior designer does add a cost to your project, but we agreed a level of involvement and mapped out a battle plan that fitted into my budget - we then managed the actual project implementation stages over time so as to keep everything on financial track. When I told my parents I had contacted an interior designer, they said it would be the best money I ever spent - I think now that they are right, and I wish I'd done it a bit sooner after moving in! Most of our contact was via email, after an initial meeting and some followup meetings to choose paint colours and collect fabric/wallpaper/flooring samples. Anna is always quick to respond to emails - her enthusiasm is as infectious virtually as it is in person - and when she sensed me dragging my heels on a few occasions she gave me just the right amount of 'nudge' to keep things moving. Anna is an absolute star - I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Habitus Design Ltd to friends and family. Contact her and get your project off the ground: you definitely won't regret it.

Anna has been involved in the renovation of our flat for the past 10 years. Every time we tackle a new project she comes up with a multitude of ideas. She never tries to impose her own style but helps us to identify our likes and dislikes and refine our choices. We love the fact that our home is not a textbook home and that it truly reflect our personalities and needs. Anna is very inventive and has helped us to redesign rooms using our existing furniture and make use of clever design tricks to maximise our budgets.

Anna was a total pleasure to work with from start to finish. We had a fairly tight budget for this project which involved knocking through a wall between our existing kitchen and lounge, designing and building a new kitchen, dining area, bathroom and dressing room and generally refreshing the colour palette and decor throughout. Anna's brilliant design solutions, meticulous planning and attention to detail made the very best use of limited cash and the end result looked a million dollars. Her brief was to bring light and a feeling of space into a rather dark north facing period flat. Her ideas were bold but the results completely transformed our living space. We rarely used our previously dreary lounge but knocking down the wall meant light from the south facing large kitchen windows was able to flood through breathing new life and energy into the space. It felt like a new home. Anna's not only got great style but also, she's genuinely interested in getting to know who she's working with, taking time to find out about how the space she's transforming is going to be used and really thinking about how to make everything flow. She was also great fun and made the whole experience feel collaborative, never imposing her taste or superior 'designer' knowledge on everything but simply guiding me through the process and being genuinely excited to share the extremely enjoyable and rewarding journey.

I have worked with Anna a number of times and each time they have provided me with a beautiful interior for my home. They create a design which very much reflects my own tastes yet they coordinate it so beautifully that rooms always have a wow factor. I love the fact that the rooms do not have the "interior designed look" but are particular to myself and my family.

I employed Anna to help me completely renovate my B listed period home. Their design expertise was executed with complete professionalism throughout the challenging project.
