I have worked with Huntington House on numerous projects since January 2005 and will continue to work with them on future projects as they arise. Hunt MacWilliams and his staff and contractors are talented, delightful to work with, efficient and are always willing to go the extra mile to get the project completed quickly and with excellent results.

Hunt McWilliams receives my highest recommendation. he helped us with a major remodel including fabric, furniture, wallpaper,lighting,carpeting, drapes,contractor referral, and other sub contractors. He was always prompt and cheerful. He took us to the design center as well as to brought stuff to our project. His bills were accurate and thorough and refected initial estimates. I give the highestimate rating possible.

I long admired the work Hunt MacWilliams had done with a friend's home - comfortable, timeless, and elegant without fuss. When it came time to update the interior of our home, we chose Hunt and he has been an absolute pleasure to work with. Hunt has a natural ability to understand our style and desires for the project. We toured showrooms together and picked out themes for the new look. Out of this collaboration, Hunt developed an understanding of what we were looking for and consistently showed his understanding of our goals. This is important because previous designers we interviewed were more interested in imparting their tastes upon us. While working with Hunt I have found him to be efficient, communicative, extremely mindful of my time, the voice of reason, and conscious of the budget parameters. The project is turning out beautifully and we could not be happier. The end result is far beyond our expectations and we could not have arrived at this point without Hunt's amazing design skills and his immense energy for getting us what we want!

Hunt McWilliams and Daniel Masch of Huntington House are consummate professionals. As a graphic artist myself I had high expectations. Hunt became an incredible partner in helping my husband and I create a beautiful home we love to live in and are still constantly receiving compliments on. I briefly worked with another interior designer at the beginning of our project and it was immediately clear the designer was lacking in experience and the ability to follow through. My husband and I had purchased a newly built contemporary home. Our prior house was much smaller and very traditional in style with a fair number of antiques. Our biggest challenge was finding furniture, carpets and fabrics that were the right scale for a large modern home and would blur the lines between contemporary and traditional styles. Hunt has impeccable taste and was able to gently guide us through many tough choices and decisions while keeping our budget in mind. He has built relationships with many reliable subcontractors over the years and they seamlessly worked together to help us put together our home by installing drapes/blinds, sewing cushions, delivering furniture and even designing a few custom pieces of furniture. Hunt is very creative and knowledgeable about design, art, and architecture, and always has a fresh perspective by staying current. He is extremely reliable and timely but, almost more importantly, he made our intimidating project fun. He has an upbeat and friendly demeanor and is a joy to work with. I have called Hunt with follow up and maintenance questions many times and he has always had an answer. I highly recommend Hunt and Huntington House Interiors, and look forward to calling on Hunt in the not too distant future.

Huntington House was hired to set up my parents' house when they moved to CA from the East Coast. Hunt did a beautiful job incorporating my parents' East Coast/Old Wolrd antiques and Artwork with the modern look to a Western House. He developed some great furniture pieces that blended old and new seamlessly as well as sourced some unique furniture to fit in very specific spaces. Hunt's traditional sensibilities are paired with his exquisite taste and ability to make classics feel fresh by surrounding them with more contemporary pieces. He listened closely to his clients' needs and tastes to ensure the home would be comfortable for them and reflect their style. Hunt also was able to achieve this in a very timely fashion and had excellent contacts for having some of my parents' antiques that were damaged in the move be repaired by artisans.

I have known Hunt since 2000, and he has always been a joy to work with. He listens to the client and gets the vision you want. His network of craftspeople and contractors is outstanding. The business side of Huntington House Interiors is also excellent: estimates and billings are timely and accurate.

Hunt has worked with me for the last twenty years. He is a very talented designer, but the finished product still looks like my house rather than a "designer" house. He is very efficient and once he understands your tastes, budget and timeframe, he gets on it and produces quickly. He is not insulted if something doesn't satisfy and will come back until everything is perfect. His accounting and paperwork are beyond reproach--and he and his firm have become very close friends!

My husband and I have used Huntington House for our first remodel (a Victorian in San Francisco) and again for our rancher-style home on the Peninsula. From a full remodel to decorating a single room or just helping find your own style, we would highly recommend Huntington House. Working with Hunt was wonderful - he helped with everything, from picking our general contractor and helping guide us through the remodel process, to deciding which walls to move. He helped design our kitchen and even worked with our architect to add more character to our house, including more interesting windows and an outdoor room by the pool. Hunt is just a delight to work with - he has impeccable taste, is open-minded and works with your style. He listens and has a great sense of humor. I miss our trips to the design center together, and look forward to working with him again in the future.

Huntington House Interiors was an amazing design partner for us. We did extensive remodeling of our existing home in the city all whilst still working/living on the East coast. Hunt provided excellent design consultation during the planning phase, hired and managed an outstanding group of tradespeople (contractor, painter, etc.), and saw the entire project through up to and including the "installation" of furniture, window treatments -- and the fun things like pillows and accessories. Put simply, Huntington House Interiors provided end-to-end interior design service. Hunt is the consummate professional (always punctual, follows through on commitments) and personable. As it turns out, we just purchased a new home in Marin and will be moving soon. We look forward to working with Huntington House Interiors to create a new a beautiful home there.

I'm a busy Executive and frankly I don't have the time to sit online and drool over pictures or try to find the best deal on toilet valves. My bathroom and dressing room sorely needed to be renovated. I called Hunt as I had seen the work he had completed renovating a couple of my friend's homes. What drew me to Hunt's work was the quality and the look; both friends remarked on how easy it was to work with him. I knew exactly what I wanted and described that to Hunt. Given my time constraint I carved 2 hours out of an afternoon where we selected the materials and fixtures, he presented me with built-in designs (including an incredible high vanity so I don't have to stoop over the sink). After we established the budget and confirmed the designs, I handed over the entire project to Hunt. He found me a fantastic Contractor, reviewed the Contracts and just about everything else related to the project. I'm proud to say that there were no change orders due to Hunt's expertise, the project was done on time and best of all it was done to budget. There's a reason you hire Hunt and this is just one of them. I am so pleased with my new bathroom and dressing room and everyone who comes to my home always comments on the beauty and style. Working with Hunt was great. His suggestions were always on target, he communicates beautifully and he made what could have been a nightmare project a piece of cake. If you have a project or a full renovation you just have to make one call. You won't regret it.

Ten plus years ago my husband and I contacted Hunt MacWilliams of Huntington House Interiors to help us turn what had been my husband’s bachelor pad into something that felt more like “us”. It has been a journey and no room has been left untouched. Hunt was involved with all aspects from picking out fabrics/wallpaper/furniture to the final installations – he even supervised the rehanging of our artwork - and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Hunt is known for working within varying budgets, delivers on time and is a pleasure to work with. We will definitely use him on our next project.
