About Us

With a skilled and dedicated staff, the Ovens & King Builders Wangaratta create unique and individual homes, beautifully crafted, environmentally sustainable and practical to live in. We have experience with an unusually large range of styles of building, including Contemporary and Heritage homes, mudbrick, stone, rammed earth, insulated concrete forms, timber claddings, expanded polystyrene systems and hebel panel. Our technical skills, flexibility and industry knowledge have given many people an opportunity to build in a style that was previously difficult to achieve.

In dealing with our unique house plan we sought a builder who could convert our mental picture to reality. The outcome by choosing Ovens and King Builders could not be bettered. Part of our picture was a low energy building. Lachie Gales of Ovens and King Builders has a particular interest in this and was instrumental in guiding us in the choice of low energy construction and equipment. Overall the result was our ideas realised and a builder who along with his staff could feel proud of their achievement.
