Fantastic professional job from Ian and his team which has completely transformed our dated bathroom. Very good advice at the design stage, Ian gave us ideas and suggestions to make the most of our small bathroom. The installation was carried out to a very high standard and was completed on time, on budget and with minimal disruption. I would highly recommend Macintosh Home Design!

This is the second time Ian and his team have carried out some renovation work for us. This time to replace the roof of our conservatory from glass to tiled including velox windows. Excellent service as ever - professional and friendly service. Aftercare service is second to none too - any questions/queries I have had following our original extension and kitchen refit Ian has been very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend.

From start to finish a professional and easy process. 3d Visual designs of new bathroom and a fantastic end product with superb attention to detail. The after service was also brilliant as a minor product fault (manufacturers issue) was dealt with the next working day. Highly recommended and will definitely be using this company again

What an excellent service I have had from beginning to end. From the quote until the work started was only 4 weeks. The fitters, Sean and Peter were fantastic workers, as long as I kept the coffee coming. Even though it was a small bathroom they were dealing with and an old house, nothing was a problem they couldn’t sort out. They have done a brilliant job, and I am so pleased with my shower. Ian was in contact frequently to advise of changes, and on the whole a very professional company to deal with. Thank you.

Ian and his Team were excellent and professional from start to finish. Involved in every step of the process Ian constantly made sure that I, as the client, was kept up to date and involved throughout. Even though it seemed like a simple job at first, multiple complications arose that put speed bumps in the way, none the less, Ian’s team remained professional and went above and beyond to ensure the final product was of the upmost of highest standards. Would recommend to anyone who is wanting any works completed from design to finish. I will be utilising him and his team again.

Ian was fantastic from start to finish. He listened to what we wanted and planned accordingly. No hard sell at all. His advice was sound and he was very patient with any questions and concerns we might have had. We were working to quite a tight budget and Ian and his team have created exactly what we wanted without sacrificing style nor quality. In terms of workmanship we have no complaints either. Everything was done to the highest of standards and always checked by Ian himself. The plasterer/electrician/fitter were all very clean workers who turned up when they said they would and communicated efficiently. I always felt as though I knew what was happening and when. Overall, we are extremely happy with the finished kitchen and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ian and the team.

Had my bathroom fully renovated by Ian and his team in July. Also had some adjustable shelves fitted into alcoves in my dining room. I couldn’t have asked for a better outcome on both jobs. The quality of the finished product was well beyond my expectations. All the work done was carried out to excellent standard and Ian’s team of workers were were professional, hardworking and very tidy. I will be asking Ian to do my kitchen very soon!

Ian and the team were fantastic from the first consulation, till after every detail on the job was complete! We will be looking to work with them again for our kitchen and utility refit in a few years!! Fantastic Excellent communication throughout the design, build and finish meant that we always felt looked after and in the loop and had a clear picture of how long the work would take, what we could expect as an outcome and clear costs and some great laughs along the way With a LARGE amount of work needed in our home- Ian reassured us the team would be perfect for the job: With a site visit, detailed measurements of our upstaris were taken, which turned in to an impressive virtual reality CAD drawing of what we would expect to see at the end. The accuracy between the drawing and the finished product is impressively accurate! The team turned up on time, were friendly, clean, professional and trustworthy, making sure we were aware of every step they took- including us on key decisions during the build to ensure that they delivered great quality, and we know we get the right end product. The pictures speak for themselves! Before, we had a small dated, unfunctional en suite style bathroom- No master bathroom! we had a larged bedroom that needed a lot of attention. Now we have something that is amazing every time we walk upstairs and is Pinterest and instagram worthy in our opinion Ian and the team took this side of the house back to the bare joists and walls and started again: - Strengthened joists, and lowered the floor from the old bathroom so it was all on one level - New Flooring- with no creaks like you get in new builds!!! - Updated Plumbing - repositioned electrics - repositioned radiators - New stud walling with soundproofing and moisutre barrier - plastering - new bathroom as seen in photos, complete with underfloor heating, moisture control, and HUGE amounts of storage - Fitted Wardrobes If you want Qaulity that will last for years, we recommend Macintosh Home Design every time!

Everything about the design and installation of the toilet was excellent. The work required that a wall, window and door of the utility room had to be relocated and the flat roof replaced. We were given a straightforward assessment of the work that needed to be done. The estimate for the cost was very reasonable. There were no surprise hidden extra expenses. Ian Macintosh personally supervised all phases of the work. He was always available to discuss the project as it progressed. The skilled workmen were courteous and friendly. We are delighted with the result and warmly recommend Macintosh Home Design for any home improvement work.

Ian and his team completed a knock through, installed a new kitchen , pitched roof with velux windows, wood flooring and updated utility. The workmen were friendly and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble. (At times I think our job was quite a challenge due to the original 1970’s extension.) We were happy that the job was completed to a safe and high standard. Ian managed to stick within budget while maintaining high quality and finish. Louise & Bobby
