Jim and his team are amazing. They took a challenging, older house and transformed it into a functional Architectural Design worthy home. The process was detailed and comprehensive. Starting with look books, then floor plans with a priority on function and comfort, then selecting the individual pieces from high end vendors. Jim listened to our wants, but also pushed our design sense to give us a designer level home. Jim went above and beyond to make sure we were happy, was more than willing to change original plans as needed, was incredibly responsive, and gave us the home we always wanted.

Working with staff at Ireko has been a pleasure. From the first steps of general design layout of a room to picking paint and fabrics and furniture was easy and exciting. Jim was able to focus in quickly on my personal taste and offer fabulous choices but not overwhelming with too many choices. The installation and follow up with small glitches offered outstanding personal service. I highly recommend Ireko!

Over the course of time we have worked with Jim on three houses, each very different in style and size. In each Jim created lovely unique spaces. By selecting timeless beautiful furniture pieces with him we were able to move them from one house to the next with equal success. Through the process we have included traditional furnishings, sometimes very contemporary pieces, bright rooms, sometimes excitingly dark, a bit of whimsy, but all the while resulting in houses well balanced, interesting, and a joy to live in. He has a most unusual sense of scale and furnishings placement with which maximize each space to its most advantageous. Jim is very good at explaining his vision and creating a sense of excitement for his clients...a good way to start a project. But the most difficult thing to describe about Him is his talent for finding a creative way to bring forth something unique or unexpected on any project. He has very basic raw talent which is so very difficult to define.

Jim Rascoe, owner and designer of Ireko, provided us with one of the most wonderful, productive, unique and enjoyable experiences we have had in decorating a home. His creativity, ingenuity and vision are beyond description. Our entire home was decorated by Jim 13 years ago and all the furnishings remain as beautiful today and as useful as the day they went in. His work is obvious to anyone coming into our home, as their gasps, from its beauty, and remarkable compliments towards his design and scale ability are beyond words. People always comment that this house should be in Architectural Digest. We feel so very fortunate to have discovered Jim and highly recommend him!!

Our experience with Jim Rascoe and Ireko has been nothing short of exceptional. We have known Jim as a fine furnishings purveyor for over 20 years and we have always appreciated his great taste, unique talent and ability to find just the right pieces for us. Because we had come to trust his judgment and capabilities, we engaged Jim as our Interior Designer for a number of projects. Each project has been a huge success. Jim is creative and sees possibilities that never would have occurred to us. He is also extremely thorough in his project designs, and comprehensive in their execution. Jim is fiscally prudent and has an extensive network of manufacturers, vendors and tradespeople. All of this, and a great sense of humor too! You will not be disappointed. Jim and Mike have done the interior design of four homes for us over the past fifteen years... wow! One of the homes had a more European design set in a small vineyard in Santa Rosa. The other three were more Asian in design and were located near Plam Desert, CA. The last of these was completed about five years ago. This home is about 6000 square feet... each of the others were over 4000 square feet. They provided complete interior design including furniture. We enjoy our home and often think of the fun these guys made of the many decisions required. Even thou they helped with the decisions, the home is truly ours.
