My name is Janice Ahrens and I am the owner of J Ahrens Interiors, boutique interior design studio. We provide creative, innovative design solutions for our clients design challenges. We work with busy executives, professional men and women, entrepreneurs who want beauty and style in their homes, businesses, and spaces. Many have older children at home or they are empty nesters. With their busy schedules and lives, they struggle with the issue of "Not Having Enough Time". What makes our company different is we listen to our client, understand what the client wants, and join our client to co-create space that meets their needs and defines their style with beautiful, functional spaces. J Ahrens Interiors (Janice) designed and oversaw the remodeling of my two upstairs bathrooms and construction of a walk-in closet. She worked very closely with me and other family members to design the layout, select construction firms, fixtures and decor. I relied heavily on her professional experience and "eye" to select the necessary items and was not disappointed. She interfaced very effectively with the construction company and their subcontractors when problems arose and made sure the issues were quickly and properly addressed. She communicated routinely and often as the project progressed. The only negative was the work took much longer than projected. The reason for this is varied but the impact could have been reduced by having fewer subcontractors and a more accurate original schedule.
