Traditional Designs

First-time customer. Excellent service. We replaced ~24-year-old, broken, stained, white marble, 12-inch square tiles on a powder room bath vanity countertop with Fantasy Blue quartzite. After streaming sooo many home renovation shows, this was our first experience with quartzite, and we'll be using it from now on. It was fun to pick our slab on the Traditional Designs' yard. All the reps were helpful and responsive. My engineer husband wanted an Ogee Group V FG40 combo edge, and it was manufactured beautifully. The installation went perfectly. The installers even had great design suggestions given their vast experience. We recommend the folks at Traditional Designs and will be using them again in the future.

From our first visit to the completion of our project everyone we worked with was very helpful, knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. We believe their organization is based on team work and they made the project run very smoothly. They worked with our timeline and everyone contacted us and kept us updated. We had our kitchen countertops and island replaced as well as the countertops in both of our bathrooms in a beautiful Caramel Carrara Quartzite. Traditional Designs has a wonderful showroom. Their shop is large and well maintained. The gentleman who measured our areas was very conscientious and discussed all the measurements with us. We feel their prices were reasonable and product is great. The teams were great. We highly recommend this company. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE!

Great selection of materials to look at! I'm in love with the "Fantasy Brown" Granite I found here, and Deana was essential in helping me get this project done in time for the holidays! I even ended up redoing the master bathroom after I found this place since Deana was so helpful and I really loved the materials! So go to Traditional Designs and ask for Deana - she is the BEST!!!

i would not recommend this company. we hired them for a kitchen remodel with new counter tops and back splash. they did not communicate with us. we always had to call them or email them to find out when the project would happen, what time they would be arriving. which they never showed up when they said they would. they said we did not need an electrician when we did. they billed us for the second portion of the job before it was done and did not inform us that they were going to use our credit card when they did bill us. the people that did the work were not very professional and often seemed confused and spoke very little English making communication difficult. they did not finish out the back splash properly. one of the contractors after leaving for an hour or so just tried to let him self back in the house with out knocking or ringing the door bell. he also did the same thing the next day when he came back to finish. they also did not clean up very well. there was still dust all over the counters and back splash when they left. i just need to get this off my chest. i would not recommend these guys to anyone.

Galen and his crew recently finished installing a new qranite counter top, backsplash and sink in our kitchen. They worked tirelessly to get it just right. The results are beautiful. They have a large selection to choose from.

Jamie was wonderful to work with! Love my granite! So happy with the way it all turned out! Highly recommend them!

I hired Traditional Designs to paint the stairs, stairwell, and upstairs hallway. I also had them install brand new carpet throughout the entire second story. They did a fantastic job and were super quick! Jamie in particular really helped me when it came to choosing a color and which type/style. She made recommendations based on the colors through out our house and also which type would be best with dogs and kids. She definitely knows her stuff! I get complements on the carpet all the time and cannot say enough good things about everyone we worked with at Traditional Designs!

I was introduced to Traditional Designs 5 years ago and so happy that I was. I first met Jamie at their Galveston location and she has worked wonders in both of my houses. For years I couldn't find a reputable company in Galveston that would actually show up on time and perform the work. I have been spoiled with Traditional Designs! The quality and craftsmanship that I have received has far exceeded my expectations. Jamie makes everything too easy! From the initial consultation to the completion of the job. Unfortunately, Houzz only allowed me to upload 4 of the many incredible transformations. I look forward to working with Jamie and Traditional Designs for many years to come!!

We used Traditional Designs in Galveston for a bathroom redesign and had a mixed experience. Their tile installer was an artist and did a superb job. The plumber experienced some issues due to poor hole drilling on the countertop, and was slow due to a poor assistant. The big problem were gaps left in the shower cabin and ceiling - the TD person insisted this was a "finish" problem that we should repair because they were not painting the bathroom. That is utter rubbish. We will probably not use them again.

Amazing service, knowledgable staff. They make you feel like part of the family. The whole experience was pleasant and on time. My new kitchen is amazing! They have great ideas, and really know how to make your home look unique, posh, and luxurious. I highly recommend them to anyone. It would be a mistake to not hire them. Best in houston hands down.
