We recently completed a major home renovation which took over a year to complete. The first thing I tell people about Jenny, Natalia, Cynzia, and the team at JCR is that they care about your project like it was their own home. They go above and beyond to make sure everything turns out well. This included meeting carpet, drapery, wallpaper, painters, and others at our house to make sure everything started and finished as envisioned. On top of that, they follow up on any outstanding questions or issues. We had hardwood flooring manufacturing issues and wallpaper imperfection issues which the JCR team stayed on top of until all was perfect. They have a network of reliable suppliers and expert craftsmen who they bring to the project. The custom woodwork and refinished pieces came out exquisite and exceeded expectations. The design and construction of our home came out very well and the JCR interior features further enhanced the design. We are very pleased with and have received many compliments on our wallpaper, dining table and chairs, island chairs, countertops, lighting fixtures, and plumbing and cabinet hardware. Partly because of our timing where market prices were rising and partly because of our choices, our project was well over budget. I’m partially comforted by the fact that current prices have risen even higher. In any case we are very happy with the results and continue to use the JCR team for fine tuning and advice.

Over the past 5 years, I’ve worked with Jenny and her amazing team on several major projects, including a full re-design of both our family home and beach house. Jenny and team helped us effectively redesign our entire house, from top to bottom. Every room was in need of a change. Before doing anything Jenny sat down with us to get a sense of both our style but also the feeling we wanted in each room. That allowed us to start from a great foundation and automatically eliminate 95% of the choices that would not have made sense for us. Of the 5%, she helped guide us through furniture, window treatments, art, wallpaper, rugs and much more. Her recommendations were always through what we liked. We would highly recommend her. Jenny is an exceptional designer. She designed our totally remodeled kitchen and our updated bedroom, living room and dining room. I have been working with JCR Design Group for more than two years. I contacted JCR shortly after moving from my turn-of-the-century Shaw-neighborhood home to a Warson Woods mid-century modern. I needed help transitioning from a traditional decor and style to a more contemporary look and, as I was also taking on a nearly full home remodel, help also with floor-plan and room design. Jenny and her staff, in particular, Cinzia and Natalia, have accompanied me throughout this extended journey, acting as my expert guides and consultants. The service has been exceptional: Jenny and team provided valuable input regarding the original remodel plan, recommended and helped secure a qualified contractor to do the work, and offered advice and recommendations on vendors, materials, finishes, furnishings and decor. They have been extremely generous with their time, and consistent in their commitment to producing high-quality results. On many occasions they travelled with me to review vendor offerings and materials or came to my house to personally view and experience what had been selected—to be certain that everything looked ”just right.” They have also accommodated my occasional indecision when making final selections, patiently offering options until my sometimes very particular preferences can be satisfied. I am very happy with the results of my partnership with the JCR team. While their work with me continues, we are approaching the end of the project. I will miss my interactions with Jenny and her staff. It is difficult to imagine there is a kinder, more patient, more skilled team of design professionals working in the St. Louis region.

JCR Design Group is amazing! My new condo looks beautiful. It was so easy to work with Jenny and her colleague. They had fresh ideas and really listened to what my husband and I had to say about our goals. She stepped back when it was something that I wanted to handle and dove in when I was uncomfortable about a decorating matter. We started from scratch with a small condo in the CWE. We are just about done and it is better than I could have even imagined! We purchased cabinetry, paint, plumbing fixtures, wallpaper, all new furniture, window treatments, etc. All of her sub contractors were top notch! I found them always to be upbeat and pleasant which made for a fun decorating journey. I think her input saved me lots of money than had I done it myself. We built our home 18 years ago and unfortunately the family room never worked properly. Jenny came in and listened to our needs and we could not be happier with the results. When she sent me the photos of my completed room, my first thought was wow, what a beautiful room. Oh wait, that’s our house. Jenny was wonderful to work with. Not only was she professional in every aspect, that being an Interior Designer, but accomplished exactly what I wanted to achieve with my project right down to the very last detail. I am a busy professional. I purchased a house that needed a new kitchen, master bathroom, and guest bathroom. I soon realized that I needed some help because of the numerous styles and the variance in prices were overwhelming. We hired Jenny int he summer of 2017 and completed the work in Jan 2018. The scope of work involved new table/chairs/counter stools in my kitchen and full master bedroom redo. Jenny is a terrific listener, has a great eye for color and works with her contacts to get things done in a timely manner. Jenny did not make me feel beholden to all of her suggestions; she is open to looking at things from different perspectives. Jenny is incredibly talented but I think her biggest strength is her communication skills. She is very diplomatic and gracious - which made her a true delight to work with! Thanks, Jenny, for your excellent expertise in designing a refreshed look in my living room/dining room/ hallway in this 69 year old home! Having worked with you 4 years ago to update these areas with painting and recovered furniture, I was confident. you would guide me in the right direction with this HUGE project in the summer. The dark wood floors are beautiful, and the 2 area rugs really set-off the entire places that have been re-done, including the gorgeous black (smaller) granite hearth. Your kindness and thoughtfulness have not gone un-noticed by me and all the capable workmen who completed the job. We all love you!

Working with Jenny was one of the easiest decisions when I started my home renovation. She understood my style and helped me quickly work through all the material decisions that needed to be made (and we had a lot of decisions to make touching every room in the house). Jenny is terrific. She was both project manager and design consultant. On the project mgmt side she kept the million moving parts all moving forward. Our builder really liked working with her as well. I think it helped to take emotion out of the dealings with him and she kept us from making dozens of mistakes. We were referred to Jenny by our realtor. We moved to a bigger house and needed a lot of furnishings, as well as a whole kitchen, powder room, and laundry room renovation. She was very approachable and easy to talk to from the very start. She got to know our style & budget, and was very accommodating to both. She did everything from helping pick out fabrics for our new sofas & chairs, end tables, lamps, wall-art, small accessories, office furniture, kitchen cabinets, appliances, countertops, backsplash, tile, paint color, window coverings, light fixtures, carpeting, floor refinishing, and many more things! Jennifer Rapp, and the rest of the JCR Design Group helped design and decorate a complete redo of my kitchen, mudroom and laundry room/office. While staying within the footprint of my original rooms, they helped transform a 20 year old, tired kitchen into a gorgeous and yet practical place we all love to spend time in. We moved every appliance to a new spot in order to gain the most space and we replaced the kitchen table with lovely and comfortable island seating for five.
