About Us

J.D. Carter Interior Design is a full service interior design studio that has served Midland and Odessa, TX since 1983. We offer consultation, new home development, kitchen remodeling, custom furniture, and more. We enjoy working with our clients to create customized elegant living spaces. Let J.D. Carter Interior Design help create your dream home. We began with a door, two sawhorses, a Bank of England rolling chair and five Robert Allen sample books. Having worked on a broad range of residential and commercial projects help our clients make sound decisions based on solid design principles. Our many repeat clients are a testimony to our ability to communicate and listen to their needs, implementing a tailor made space. It is our goal to complete projects that tailor fit our clients lifestyle, physical needs and personal taste. J. D. Carter strives to make every project sustainable and earth friendly! I have worked with J.D. on .my homes, and my son's home. He is patient , creative and has terrific contacts. As well, he is fun to work with, and is a good Christian. I am very opinionated, and he has suffered me well for several years. I am very happy with the great looks we have accomplished. We have worked together for 10 years,and. JD Carter is one of the most resourceful designers I've worked with. He has a great talent for being able to design around his client's tastes and desired themes. This is a talent that too often is lacking in the design community. Instead of trying to steer people down the predetermined path of familiarity, he listens to his clients as they build a picture of what direction they want to go. He then is able to use his ability as a designer and relationships with manufacturers to take that picture and turn it into a reality that his clients never imagined possible. All at an affordable price due to his direct purchasing ability from manufacturers instead of being forced to go through a retailer or distributor.
