We had a small kitchen that was separated from an awkward, small front room by a stairway to the basement. We knew we needed to remodel the very cramped and outdated kitchen but Jane encouraged us to think bigger about what was possible. The results have totally changed how we live, entertain, and work from home, in some amazing ways across both style and function. With Jane's guidance, we moved the stairs and now have an open concept space with a layout that maximizes every square inch--including a nine-foot island in the perfect, versatile shade of blue. We never would have achieved anything close to this level of design on our own. From appliance and light fixture choices, to dialing in our newly expanded dining area with the ideal mix of furniture, rug, and lighting, every detail is carefully considered. She also connected us with talented, trustworthy contractors--the tile in particular was perfectly executed! As homebodies who also work from home, we are grateful for the transformation Jane made possible. We can't recommend her highly enough!

Jane was recommended to us by our architect. Originally, we were just looking for assistance with our color scheme for outside (siding, doors, shutters). Jane listened to what we were looking for, what we liked and didn't like, our general style - and then gave us some great options. She had a great balance of selections in our style, including some that were a little more daring - which we loved. We quickly started using Jane for even more - exterior and interior lighting, interior paint, wallpaper, floor color, rugs, furniture and more. In addition to great variety of options, she also picked choices that worked for our life style (2 small kids) and budget. We have more things we want to tackle and will definitely be reaching out to Jane again for help!

Jane is a wonderful space planner/designer. I asked for her help and she delivered exceptional service. She returns every phone call and answers all e mails and text messages in a very timely manner. Jane encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone a bit and each time I agreed to her suggestions , I loved the choice. She has a wonderful eye for wall colors and wall coverings. My husband and I have been working with Jane Braley for many years. Jane was the interior designer when we chose a design/build firm to do a full home renovation in 2008, and her warm, non-judgmental personality and sense of style led us to hire her for many more updates to our home since then. Her work with us since the renovation has ranged from being the general contractor for an addition to our house to full room design updates, space planning, color consultation, and ordering custom furniture and upholstery, Every project, however big or small, has been executed in a professional and detailed manner, according to our specifications, and always within the deadlines we've set. We recommend Jane without hesitation for any scale remodel you may be considering for your home.

My family of six and a dog really needed a mudroom. Originally, when you came into the side door, you walked right into the family room! J. Grant Braley Interiors planned and designed an addition; a fabulous space to accommodate our need for coat, sports equipment and shoe storage in an organized way. The space was set off with a great pocket door! The addition from the exterior looks like it was part of the original house!
