Houses are my passion, and making them work and live better for you is what I thrive on. Most contractors approach home improvement from a construction viewpoint. That may seem obvious, but it leaves out a critical ingredient. My approach is from that of an artist, which I am. I can't stand boring and ordinary; not when it's possible to create something incredible, often for the same cost - maybe even less. If you’ve been thinking about making an improvement to your home, you should be aware of the following fact: You don’t have to settle for just a meat and potatoes, average, vanilla, sensible shoes, 1% milk-on-oatmeal, sort of home improvement. It can - and should - be spectacular. The end result of all of this is a long list of clients who speak very highly of me. We found Jerry here on Houzz. Jerry is very approachable and responsive and offered his design advice in our large kitchen remodel. Jerry was very helpful; he listened to our wants, needs, and our have to haves for our new design. He's not afraid to offer suggestions and options that may take us outside our comfort zone, and because of that, we have a beautiful new kitchen beyond our hopes! Jerry helped us with so many decisions regarding colors of cabinets and style and design, lighting, countertops, flooring, and "cabinet Jewelry" (cabinet hardware). He was very supportive through the the entire process. He put us in touch with his contractors, and had a list of businesses that gave us several vendors to choose from. We now have an amazing kitchen we are so proud of and will enjoy for many years to come. Thank you, Jerry!

Jerry provided excellent design advice for the renovation and expansion of our kitchen, adjusting the plans as necessary to accommodate our must have elements. The project included the removal of an entire wall between rooms, new cabinets and construction of a very large island, as well as hardwood floors and new lighting. Jerry worked with us to find contractors to undertake the work after the original contractor's final estimates exceeded the preliminary cost estimates. As work progressed Jerry stayed on top of the contractors and kept us in the loop for each step. Despite several unforeseen challenges, particularly related to supply chain delays, the project was completed within the anticipated timeframe.

Jerry provides a custom experience based on client preference and budget. He presented options to us at each phase of the project, but never pressured us to go one way or another. We were able to take our time making decisions, and ended up with a fabulous kitchen renovation which is highly functional and definitely has a WOW factor. I am convinced that our end product would not be nearly as good had we gone with a different remodeling specialist.

We worked with Jerry Schuster in 2008/2009 on an addition to our house. We wanted to expand and completely redo the kitchen, change an entryway/laundry hall into an enclosed pantry; added a large garage, new master bedroom, master bath, walk-in closest/laundry room, and a home theater. Jerry worked with us developing a floor plan, staying within our budget, hiring the appropriate trades-people, and taking our vision of what we wanted to completion. Our project was a pretty large project for most standard remodeling or additions; but Jerry was well up for the challenge. He was always available for questions and discussions. He listened to our input and comments throughout the project. The kitchen was a pivotal room for us, Jerry came out and spent nearly six hours working through the layout and cabinet choices to get things the way we wanted. We still love our addition and feel that Jerry was very instrumental to making that happen. Additionally his post followup and support after completion, has continued to show his dedication to customer service.

I finally got my dream kitchen/sunroom. I spend the majority of my time in these rooms and still to this day can't say enough about the how pleased I am with how it all turned out--just wish I had done this sooner. HomePerfect did an outstanding job with all the headaches I found out that come with this territory--the unexpected does happen. I will be sure to contact them on my next project.
