Kitchen Places

10 stars out of 5! I highly recommend Kitchen Places. Kitchen Places’ team is nice, considerate, patient, punctual, responsible, and responsive, as well as creative problem-solvers. From the first day Jeff King (the owner) looked at my kitchen, he had great ideas how to make it work better for me. Even though my kitchen was a small job, they always made me feel like an important customer. Crickett Kinser, Kitchen Places designer, suggested good ideas during the design phase to solve my kitchen problems, while staying within my budget and making my kitchen look fabulous. At the end of every day during construction, the work area was always very clean. Jeff did a great job of managing day-to-day project activities, keeping me informed, answering my bazillion questions, assuring me that they’d take care of things, and is a really nice person who cares about his clients and the people who work for him, and makes sure that jobs are done right. A commendable, first-class company.

When we decided to add a bedroom to the first floor of our house, we had many choices to make, but there was never any question of which general contractor to choose. Three years earlier, Kitchen Places had designed and remodeled our kitchen (starting with computer-designed color drawings of the room from numerous angles) and installed wood floors throughout most of the house. Everyone who comes into the new kitchen admires its appearance and workmanship. And no matter how much time has passed since the completion of the job, the Kitchen Places people have never hesitated to come back to service squeaky cabinet hinges or any other component that needs adjustment. Naturally, we returned to Jeff and Craig when we set out to build the new bedroom. As they did before, they worked to make the project fit our budget and provided a detailed work flow chart that graphically indicated when every demolition and construction, and finishing task would be started and completed. The job proceeded efficiently, and the subcontractors—demo people, plumbers, electricians, roofers, concrete workers, etc.—were highly professional. Throughout the project, both Jeff and Craig were a pleasure to work with, and they did their utmost to understand what we wanted and to accommodate any changes we made along the way. The new room looks like a million bucks (though it didn’t cost anywhere near that much), and it blends into the existing structure seamlessly, as if the house were originally designed that way. Five stars!

Jeff and Donna, the owners of Kitchen Places are the nicest people. I worked with Jeff on my kitchen project and he was great. The installers did a beautiful job installing my butcher block countertops. I absolutely love them as does everyone that comes into my kitchen!

Needed some custom cabinetry for a family room/entertainment center. Jeff at Kitchen Places provided a design to meet our specific needs and helped us to add some lighting and other finishing touches to make it look very sleek and modern. The whole process went quickly and without a hitch. We have been very happy with the results.

My husband and I used Kitchen Places to completely remodel our 35 year old kitchen. Jeff and Ronni worked with us to create the kitchen of our dreams. We created a walk in pantry that we LOVE, removed an unnecessary bar, moved the stove to a much better area, and created a kitchen we enjoy each and every day. They were professional, respectful of our home and time, gave us a printout of what would happen each day, and finished on time. A special shout out to Craig, who was over every morning and evening to check on the job. We HIGHLY recommend them!

I Love my new kitchen. Jeff and his design specialist worked patiently with me to determine the best workable design. It was a big job requiring a lot of thought. We ended up removing walls and placing the forced air heating unit in the attic, freeing up a large area for a pantry. One of the things I really loved about the process was the way Jeff could create pictures of the proposed remodel so I could clearly how my new kitchen would turn out. Awesome! And yes, my kitchen looked like the picture only better! I am using Jeff again to rebuild a kitchen in a rental we manage.
