I am the drapery fabricator/work room and Hunter Douglas installer for Julie Garman Interiors. I am in the industry for 18 years myself. I have work with Julie for three years. She is a joy to work with. I believe her to be an excellent, and very competent decorator. She possess the ability to tap into her clients needs and wants and provide them with a final product that suits their style, taste and budget. I hope to be working with Julie for many years to come.

Julie Garman is an extremely talented interior designer and decorator. She helped gut renovate my NYC apartment. Her eye for design, flow, and balance are impeccable. She is creative and innovative in her style choices. I could not have been happier with her work and dedication to get the job done in a timely manner. I highly recommend her expertise.

Over the past 10 years, Julie Garman has created and executed design concepts for 3 of my homes; condo in downtown Washington DC, primary residence in Northern Virginia and a second/vacation home on the water in Annapolis. While she has many design strengths, I truly appreciate the following: on time and on budget delivery, meaningful collaboration, and her natural aptitude for injecting color and texture into any space (large and small). Ms. Garman is very respectful of my desire to include sentimental/family pieces in a room design. For example, I was the proud recipient of my Italian Grandmother's collection of Attenzione magazines which features famous people, photographs and works of art. Ms. Garman worked closely with a local framer to design a frame solution that was beautiful and relevant while keeping the publication intact. She has a wonderful design ability for creating spaces for young people from bedrooms to play areas. Most importantly, she loves color which can change an ordinary space into a place of inspiration. Ms. Garman has forged solid professional relationships with vendors and artisans up and down the east coast which can determine the difference between good vs. great due to attention to detail. No job is too big or too small and she is 100% hands on from initial design consultation to delivery and thereafter.

Julie Garman has been an asset in the recent remodeling of our new home. She helped us transform our living room, kitchen, and bedroom into a space that reflects our personal taste. She brings such a worldly sense of style to her designs, making our living spaces stand out from the average home. Her choice of accessories, color, and furniture works together for a seamless effect. Julie has a way of taking our vision and budget to create a space that is relaxing yet stylish. She has a wonderfully warm personality, is professional and prompt, and really cares to please her clients. Julie has a long list of respected professionals such as contractors, millworkers, wallpaper hangers, etc. whom she works with that have we have only had access to because of her. She also has access to major design centers like New York City and trade accounts where we can purchase directly through her. She constantly researches new resources and does a lot of the leg work that many people do not have the time or aptitude for and we appreciate that.

Julie is personable, intelligent and delightful to work with. She has excellent taste and a discerning eye. She knows exactly where to find the perfect pieces for my home from showrooms to small shops. She’s a true design talent and resource. I had Julie work on my children’s rooms and she did such beautiful job I had her redesign my living room too. Her work is not only beautiful but also unique and creative. She pays great attention to detail. Budgets are respected and she makes it fun! You can tell she loves what she does and it shows in her work. Julie is simply wonderful and I highly recommend her.

Julia was amazing to work with. She is very patient and hears what I want and works with that. She decorated my whole house when I moved in and I was very pleased. She also is good at spacing and colors
