Ii do not recommend this company,, even if some people are satisfied there is a chance that if something goes wrong then your nightmare begins,. My pool was installed poorly on July 1 2021' after almost a year of being ordered when I was told it would be 28 days,. My pool is still not fixed, communication doesn't exist, One of the worst experience in life,.

Awful experience started back in March. . I have the parts are laying in my yard since June we have been given 5 dates for install always a weekend ? My last date was September 24 and we got pictures of a truck off the road and a apology be there Monday the 3rd. Of October and since that call it been a no call no show they have a substantial some of money for a pool I was supposed to be swimming in July 11th. My advice to anyone considering buying a pool from KAYAK POOLS MIDWEST don’t do it !!!! Buy from family leisure or anyone else !!!!

When we first purchased our kayak pool in 2020, we had some installation and parts issues. It took a little while but when Jose took over as customer service manager, and found out what our issues were, he quickly got all the right parts shipped out and scheduled Mason, the best kayak tech ever. He was able to get all our issues fixed and now we are enjoying our “vacation in our backyard” ..thanks Jose and team for take care of business.

I have been waiting 11 months for my pool. I finally received my pool after paying $58,000 to them and still do not have my pool installed. Worse customer service I have ever delay with. I would highly recommend going with any buy Kayak Midwest. I was told after the pool arrived they would contact me within 3-5 business days for an installation date. I called on day 10 and was told they wouldn’t call me within 24 hours. That never happened. I waited 3 days and called again. Was told the supervisor was all k we it and would call me the same day with a installation date. No call again. I get the run around. Every time I call them and no one at the office has a clue but is very good at giving you false promises. DO NOT use Kayak MID west. They will only fail on every step of the way. Still waiting on a call 20 days after pool was dropped off on my driveway………they even said that they got my install mixed up with another install with the exact same beam in the same city….. figure the odds of that one. Any other pool supplier will be better than this experience. Even when they said it was on the next truck and I asked when is the truck leaving and when is it arriving they could not give me that simple information. Everyone knows you can track any package for across the word. If you don’t want the pain of dealing with liars and false promises. Use anyone but Kayak Pools MID WEST. Signed an one patient person who works in supply chain and operations. I truly do y complain much and have been more than Patient after paying over $58,000 with no pool to enjoy.

Do not buy from Kayak Midwest. Our pool was purchased fall of 2020, installed on 9/21 and has been a disaster since the day of install. It is now the end of May 2022 and we are still waiting for them to fix the pool. Walls are bowed, needs a whole new liner, deck is coming apart and many other issues. Kayak Midwest has been difficult to work with and does not care about their customer once they have their money. I strongly encourage buyers to go with another company.

The company is quick to get you in a contract without all the details of the pool, install process, and full cost. There is extremely poor communication between employees and to the customers. We tried to reach Lesley, the install manager numerous times. She was always out of the office and would rarely ever respond. I called the office and asked if there was another manager to speak with due to the lack of communication. I spoke with Chelsea, another manager but she stated it was not her department and I would have to wait until Lesley was in. They had us sign parts of the contract but not all the papers in the contract. We were told the pool we wanted would not fit in our yard due to city easement, by Lesley. Then when we decided we did not want the pool because it would not fit or change the deck we wanted, the same Chelsea that told me she could not help me before, started calling and saying it would fit. We said we are no longer interested. She stated we had to pay a 15% restock fee because we wanted out of the contract. We never agreed to have them order the pool nor did we pay for the pool to be ordered. The easiest way to cut the ties from the company was to pay the remaining 15% after our down payment. In our receipt from paying the fee, Chelsea the manager stated the money would be held in an account for us if we decided we wanted the pool. They know they didn’t order the pool and that the 15% we paid was not a restock fee or they wouldn’t have “held” that money.

We purchased a 16x32 w/ a deep end and end deck. Prior to signing our contract and paying a down payment we made it abundantly clear we wanted to use our pool over the summer and we were assured that we would. The salesman told us the above ground pools were usually installed in 7-14 days. After making the down payment and signing the contract most everything we told changed. We were told the pool would be installed in 2-28 business day, then 21 -28 business days plus 2wks and that didn't happen. We learned that we would also incur multiple " surprise" expenses, that was not made clear by the salesman. Our pool was finally delivered August 19th and we were told we would be contacted by a installer within 72hrs, that didn't happen, it was 5 days later. We set up installation for Sunday August 30th, he would be at our home between 8-9A. We arranged for water to be hauled as required by Kayak. The installer didn't show up, no phone call, no email, nothing from Kayak. I sent an email on Sunday to Kayak thinking they would reach out to me Monday morning, they didn't. I emailed them Monday and was told that the our pool was being assigned to another installer and he would be reaching out to me to set a new install date. The new date 9/10. We had to cancel multiple days of our vacation in order for this to occur. To be completely transparent, Kayak did offer us $200.00 in Kayak Kash and $1000.00 completion pay waived if we wrote a positive review and sent them a screen shot.

We purchased a Kayak pool in April of 2016. We found Kayak quality and service to be exceptional! As first time pool owners we did not know what to expect. The service we experienced from the first sales person to installation through the first year pool closing was beyond our expectations. Every step of the way we were notified and informed of what our next step would be and what to expect. They adhered to all timelines. The installers explained everything in detail and we found the pool really did need little maintenance. We could not be happier with Kayak Pools Midwest!

What a great company, products, and professionalism. Came out to our house and gave us the best deal possible all while being thorough to review the benefits of their product.
