About Us

We design beautiful kitchens, bathrooms and other storage areas for the home. While kitchen design is our specialty we often design and supply cabinetry for the entire home including mud rooms, home offices, built-ins, and bars. We supply four unique cabinet lines ranging from full custom cabinetry to less expensive options to fit just about anyone's cabinet budget. The KDG showroom is considered by many to be the best kitchen and bath showroom in the Washington, DC area. Featuring more than twenty displays with hundreds of wood and finish samples to view. If you're looking for kitchen remodeling ideas please feel free to stop by and have a look. Whether you're remodeling or building a new home we can help. We work with the best contractors, architects and installers in the business. If you already have a contractor, thats fine too.

The folks at Kleppinger Design treated me like I was their only customer--and they didn't even make any profit from me! I was missing a small piece of toe board from my Mid Century cabinetry. I called every supplier in the DMV area who sells Mid Century--no one wanted to help me except Kleppinger Design. Not only did they order the toe board for me, they cut it to my desired length and had it ready for me to pick up. Excellent customer service, thank you so much for helping me!

Kleppinger Design Group has been a client of ours for the past nine years and we have worked on many high-end projects together. Their knowledgeable and friendly team of professionals goes to great lengths to work with their customers to design beautiful and functional kitchens and bathrooms. Their expansive and beautiful showroom offer many different styles of cabinetry to choose from making it easy for customers to make their selections. We have known Bill Kleppinger, the owner for many years and respect his sense of integrity that he has instilled among his staff. It has always been a pleasure and honor working with them. We would highly recommend Kleppinger to anyone considering remodeling their kitchen or bathrooms.

Kleppinger Design Group has a wonderful showroom full of kitchen cabinetry options. Their staff is knowledgeable and professional. I have referred clients to them in the past, and expect to continue to do so in the future. I have also given a joint seminar with their staff, in which Trish, one of their talented designers, took persons on a tour of the displays, discussing trends in Kitchen and Bath design, and then the attendees came to my seminar on color trends. Julie is another one of the designers with whom I have worked. But they are all terrific. I learn something more every time I am there. Their showroom is located in Merrifield, on Merrilee Drive, one block west of Gallows and Rte. 29, very near the Merrifield Home Depot. I would not hesitate to refer someone to Kleppinger.
