About Us

At Keri McKay I N T E R I O R S we offer full-service interior design that is fresh, curated and unique to you. Our approach to design is simple. It's your home, your sanctuary; it should reflect your lifestyle and echo your personality. There are endless possibilities in interior design, however, by establishing a partnership with each client, I ensure an informed and collaborative experience from our first meeting to the placement of the last accessory. I launched Keri McKay Interiors after working numerous years alongside local designers, leading various projects from Greenwich to Fairfield and co-designing a room featured on HGTV. I am an Allied Member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and hold a Professional Certificate of Interior Design from Fairfield University. With a CPA license and business degree from Bryant College, I spent the first 10 years of my professional career in the finance industry. I find it only natural to implement design plans that makes the most of each client's budget and professionally manage the entire design process.

I needed to remodel my bathroom and had never done a remodel project before, I really didn't know how to start. I had a vision a budget but not sure how to pull it all together. Keri was awesome in taking me through the entire remodel project. She understood the look and feel I was going for, worked with me to narrow down selection of the fixtures and helped me stay in budget. She was flexible when my work schedule made it impossible to meet with the shower door vendor and just stepped right in. I would highly recommend Keri, she's easy going, knowledgeable and has a really great design approach.

I hired Keri to guide us in finishing off our large family room with window treatments. She came over a day or two after I initially contacted her. She examined the space and listened to how my family uses the space. She asked questions to really create a clear image for our home in particular. About a week later, she came back with samples of fabric, hardware, and various pictures. Together we were able to choose fabric for the drapes and the roman shade. Keri was incredibly friendly and professional, not afraid to share her thoughts yet listen to mine. She shared her expertise and made me feel part of her team.

Keri was an amazing, attentive and client center designer. She helped guide me through the process of changing the style of my decor and establishing more continuity in my home. Keri is flexible and patient. She presented me with options for every detail, big and small, which allowed me to feel connected to my new space. My new family room is the perfect balance between sophistication and functionality. Its truly the dream space I envisioned! Keri is professional, honest and transparent. She is the perfect partner. She accomplished everything we wanted within the budget we were comfortable with. She also worked collaboratively with outside sub contractors. She was turnkey and fabulous, putting our minds as ease and allowing us to enjoy the project.

We retained Keri to do a complete remodel of the first floor of our home. The resulting spaces reflect our family's tastes and lifestyle, and all done within budget. It was important to me to retain a credentialed decorator. We converted a spare room into a combo walk-in closet and mudroom, and I wanted to work with someone who could create plans and work well with the contractor and closet company. Keri did a wonderful job. She is creative, listens well to her clients and is enthusiastic and extremely efficient.

She has a great understanding of space, an eye for color, and of course the very important quality of paying attention to the details. Working with Keri McKay was a pleasure. She is professional, well informed and easy to collaborate with. She listened to my ideas for my space and then took them and made them even better then I could have imagined. Keri has great, original ideas that never overwhelmed my initial vision.
