As an established interior design studio based in Mangawhai, Northland, Wolfe offers bespoke designs for coveted residential homes and commercial projects from Auckland to Langs Beach, Mangawhai, Matakana and Omaha. Wolfe believes that interior design is about self-expression. From concept to completion, every client and project is unique. The studio’s boutique team work collaboratively and intelligently to deliver timeless design that continues to delight, long after a project is complete. With long-standing industry relationships, Wolfe works closely with architects, landscape designers, art consultants and leading design professionals. For more than 20 years, founder Kim Munro has curated a diverse portfolio for high-end residential and commercial clientele. More recently, the studio explored what interior design services could (and should) look like for their business. They discovered an unwavering commitment for putting the client at the heart of every decision and delivering bold, yet intuitive design. Out of this valuable exercise came a revitalisation of their brand. Formerly Munro & Co, the name change to Wolfe Interior Design is an exciting reflection of the company’s values and vision.

We engaged Kim Munro to help us undertake a complete renovation of our 1930's bungalow. Whilst we engaged Kim for a full design service, she took on the role of project manager and was with us every step of the way on a project that spanned 3 years. We were very impressed with Kims design and her ability to source great product. We are incredibly happy with the finished product and we couldn't have achieved such a great outcome without Kims involvement. She was always very easy to work with, accessible when we needed her and we would highly recommend Kim to anyone.

Munro & Co were commissioned to select the exterior and interior colour scheme and interior finishes for four of my new homes. Throughout each of the projects Munro & Co’s expertise streamlined the decision-making, in what can often be a very stressful and demanding process. The results in the most recent house (the largest and most complex) are fantastic, resulting in a unique home which is very welcoming, comfortable and practical due to the choice of finishes. The previous home was sold after 10 years and the interior design resulted in a home with enduring appeal, making it very marketable. Munro and Co make the whole process pleasurable and stress free. I’ve also had pleasure in referring their business to several friends who subsequently employed their services.

Residential Home Owner Mangawhai

When we relocated an old villa to Mangawhai, we realised we were going to need expert design advice for the project - which was to completely strip and renovate the villa whilst retaining its original character. Having worked with Munro & Co in the past, we knew that with their eye for colour and texture they could visualise what we had in mind. They assisted with all the interior finishes, including paint colours, kitchen finishes and flooring, and the coordination of furniture and fabrics along with the exterior colour scheme. Our brief for the interior was not your usual neutral palette - we wanted rich traditional European-inspired colours, which we knew could be tricky to achieve. After consulting with us in detail about our ideas, Kim created a beautiful soft yet rich palette that flows from room to room and completely brings our villa to life. We are delighted with the renovation of our home, Munro & Co were great to work with.
