We did not have a good experience with LDK in building a custom home. The architect was awful, and we have always hated the way the front of our house looked, so now we are hiring another architect to redo it. We asked for a few small changes. And they were unwilling. The owner, Larry, was snarly.

We had a great experience with LDK! They listened to our wants/needs during the planning process, and were able to create the perfect house for our blended family. DeAnne was incredibly patient throughout the entire process. She always had great ideas, and, even more importantly, didn't hesitate to tell me I had bad ideas. She always answered my texts, emails and calls - day and night - even when she really didn't need to. Her follow-up was amazing! I would definitely recommend LDK as a custom home builder, and DeAnne for her design expertise!

We purchased a newly built home from LDK. We got an amazing home with a beautiful design and a layout that works perfectly for our lifestyle. I appreciated being able to depend on their experience and expertise and not having to worry if I was making the wrong decisions. They know what they are doing and it shows.

LDK built us a custom home. They were patient as we went through what were I think a hundred changes to get the plans just right, including redoing a chunk of each floor. Deann did a marathon week of picking everything with me (I was 38 weeks pregnant) and made it not too overwhelming both when I knew just what I wanted and when I had only a vague idea. We have four small children and she was great with helping me find ways to make the house low maintenance and destruction resistant. She also had me shipped dozens and dozens of full sheet paint samples to help me narrow down which grey or blues I wanted. From breaking ground to the day we moved in was 117 days. Matt the site supervisor was great and easy to text, to meet, and to help explain or fix the little things that came up. We had a few minor hurdles around what exactly was included when it was outside the spec sheet (shower doors, mud room cabinets, how many paint colors) We hope never to need to but would build with them again.

As we started the build process, we had a list of ‘must haves’. LDK took our list and helped us design our perfect home. From the beginning of the project, Deanne was with us every step of the way. She immediately got to know us and the style (modern) we were looking for. She helped us find those fun, unique design elements to put into our house, helped us find alternatives when our ‘wants’ were out of our budget, and let us know when she thought my ideas were not so good. Deanne went out of her way to make sure that our house was perfect – even texting me pictures of alternative laundry room counter top materials late one night when we received word the one I picked out was out of stock. We frequently received calls from the Sup, Jay, asking – are you really sure that is what you want –– and he would often provide us with suggestions of what would be better. We really appreciated these calls as with so many decisions to be made when designing and building a new home, it was reassuring to have the LDK team double checking and working hard for us to make sure the end product was just what we wanted. We moved into our LDK home over a year ago and absolutely LOVE IT!

Throughout 2015 we worked with LDK Custom Homes as part of a new build construction project. From end to end the whole LDK team was committed to supporting us in the process. Floor plan consultation and recommendations, support implementing unique design customizations that we were looking for, execution on the expected timeline, and budget support just to name a few, were all things LDK guided us through. We could not recommend LDK Custom Homes more as their innovative approach to getting the job done is refreshing and a huge value add in the new construction industry. They helped our dream become a reality.

Built a quality home for a great price. Quick process 120 days. A few errors like you would have with any builder due to lack of communication but for the most part they took care of the mistakes they made. Would build with them again. Have had several friends/acquaintances build with LDK and they have all been pleased with their finished product.

LDK Homes built my beautiful new home for me. The entire staff was very easy to work with. I told them what i wanted and they created it for me. Everything was done on on schedule. This is the second home they have built for me. I would highly recommend them.

We recently had the pleasure of working with DeAnne on our new home construction project. DeAnne was there for us from the beginning and was with us for all the design appointments. I couldn't have done it without her. She is kind, energetic and wildly talented. She also always kept my budget in mind when making selections. We have gotten so many compliments on our new home. I can't say enough good things about her. DeAnne is a talented designer with a genuinely warm personality which makes her so easy to work with. I would strongly recommend her to our best friends and family for any project large or small.
