Mark has been working with our family in completing my parents forever home. He has done an amazing job working with a bunch of different ideas yet coming together for a stylish cost effective design. He asks all the right questions, pays attention to detail and gets the project done. We are so happy, thankful and excited to have worked with him.

My company, Austin Turnkey Services, Inc., has built two projects that Mark designed. Both projects turned out beautifully and the customers were very satisfied. As a builder, it is important to have a well thought out plan with detailed plans and elevations. Mark's thoroughness and attention to detail made these projects easy to complete.

We've used Mark twice now. Once for our original large-scale remodel and now with our recent kitchen remodel. He's easy going and focused on what we wanted. We were impressed by how he worried more about making it all work out than we were at times. That's the sign of a professional. We think Sun+Stone is fantastic. If there is such a thing as an official family designer, Mark Lind is ours.

Mark designed and has helped supervise the construction of an addition to my home. We came to him and asked him to design a brand new kitchen to replace the old and to add a master suite above it. We also needed the old bathroom torn out to the studs and rebuilt. He took us on the local modern homes tour and we discussed home elements we likes and those we didn't like. He intended to design a mid century modern addition while preserving the curb-facing look of the original 1932 bungalow. I appreciated that during the design phase, Mark kept iterating his plans and ideas to come up with better and better solutions to the problem, eventually coming up with an elegant and open design that gave us efficient modern addition we wanted while preserving the homey look of the bungalow. In fact, when on the street in front of the house, you can't even see the addition.It doesn't hulk over the little house and dominate it. Every one of the subcontractors has approached me to tell me how cool my house is. There is nothing cookie cutter about it. It was designed thoughtfully to fit the existing house, lot and neighborhood and to give us, who will live in it, what we asked for. I would have added photos, but the photo option was not available on my iPad.

Mark designed my optometric practice, Modern Eyes. The practice is a green and building and was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in getting the project completed and on budget. He is very passionate about design and will do what it takes to get the job done.

I have worked with Mark Lind for several years. He is always considerate of my time and expertise. I am sure that his clients receive the same attention and respect that I get in my relationship with him. He is also willing to design outside of the normal expected parameters. I enjoy pushing the envelope with his selections and designs.

Commented: What type of wood is the floor done in? Love them!!As for the type of wood flooring, I am not certain, as this was a spec house and the builder selected the finishes. Normally, I like to do all of the finishes myself, but in this case, I was not able...

Commented: Wall Build OutI believe it was between 2 1/2" and 4". Just enough to get an LED tape light in there and service/replace it if necessary... Hope that helps!
