About Us

Miriam Dillon is one of the only interior designers in the DC region who also has an architecture degree; she spent the formative years of her career honing both skills as she developed an interiors division of the residential architectural design firm where she was a project manager. She is now manages all interior design services for Barnes Vanze, an architecture firm in Washington. Interior design is inextricable from architecture; texture, line and aesthetics, when smartly selected, become an extension of the structure that surrounds them. That's why Barnes Vanze Architects offers interior design as a component of its architectural work on new homes, additions and renovations—as a stand-alone service within an existing home.
